Drawn Cup Needle Roller Bearing :
The outer ring of drawn cup needle roller bearing is punched with the high-quality steel sheet. The outer ring has thin wall. The drawn cup needle roller bearing has the characterstics of small radial section area, large load carring capacity ,less inertia and economic manufacture. It is suitable for small section heght, or when the housing bore isnot used for raceway , this type is recommended to use .The bearing is assembled into the housing bore under a certain pressure without fu rther axial location.
The draw up needle roller bearing generally takes its shaft diameter as the internal raceway .However , the proper LR type inner ring can be used in accordance with application condition.

- Q: What bearings should a beginner have on their skateboard?
- the free ones unless your looking for speed i remember my first skateboard, i had some bones reds and they were too fast so i tightened them up to make them slower lol and now their the worst ever. but if you want some good ones then you need to know how to clean them and take them off your wheels first.
- Q: recently went to tire discounters to get some new tires, and they told me both wheel bearings were bad and my tie rod end was bad? me being a diy'r on most car things i said ill fix em, but they refused an alignment til my problems were fixed, though the wheel bearings aren't making any noise yet, i figured i would change them once i had the extra money to pick up a press and the bearings and shims i may need to press it in, if i replace just the tie rod end will they be able to align my car?
- Sure you can, but as soon as you back it off the rack, the alignment will change. Repack your wheel bearings before they burn up. It is easy and does not require a press (I generally do not use a press to do wheel bearings). Also change the seals while you are repacking the bearings.
- Q: i'm trying to make my bearings as fast as possible by cleaning them constantly with simple tissue paper...turns out it does not work to good. there are no skate shops in my area,(southeast texas) so i would like to know if there are any type of cleanser/lube product that i could find in my counter or at a wall-mart. thank you.rules:don't say google it.
- this is my method... Buy: a gaterade bottle, or a bottle big enough to fit a bearing....3 in 1 oil which will cost 2-3 bucks..and rubbing alchohol, but it has to be at least 90% alchohol or more. 1st. find a bottle like a gaterade bottle, or a bottle big enough to fit bearings in it. 2nd. put the bearings in the bottle then pour rubbing alchohol, which you can buy for 3-4 bucks (MAKE SURE ITS 90% ALCHOHOL, cause water will make it rust.) 3rd, shake the bottle for 5 minutes then pour out the alcohol. 4th. dry the bearings 5th. use 3 in 1 oil to lubricate the bearings and make them spin more freely this will clean your bearings, make them last longer, and spin a bit more faster..
- Q: I'm sick of decent bearings costing $50+ for a set. So i started looking at industrial bearings from reputable companies like Fafnir and Timkin, and I'm gonna try putting on non skate-specific bearings cuz they'd be cheaper. BUT I need to know the outside diameter of the bearing and the inside diameter. Only I don't have an exact way of measuring the dimensions. If you know, please help me out! THanks!
- i wouldn't do that if i were you. i don't skate long boards myself, but as i'm changing my set up every few months, the LEAST important thing is bearings. just get them from the skateshop, but don't bother with the decent ones. you'd be surprised that there isn't much difference between bones ceramics and the cheapest skateshop bearings with no brandname. i've also found, the more expensive, the easier they break.so don't bother with industrial bearings, save time by getting the cheapest bearings from a skateshop. +/- $10.
- Q: I am replacing the wheel bearings on the front axle of my 98 cherokee and I want to know if the Timkin brand wheel bearings for $150 each autozone will make a difference over the valucraft ones for $99 each. Is it worth the extra $50?
- Timkin bearings are the best brand out there. Timkin bearings are considered prime choice. Go for Timkin.
- Q: Recently started getting alot of noise coming from the front of our truck. The sound is like a high pit ch noise the gets louder as the truck picks up speed. I would best describe it as a high pitch or like the sound of really big 4x4 tires as they drive by you on the freeway. I did the standard wheel bearing check. Jacked up the truck and pushed and pulled on the wheel. I get no shake or looseness. I can say that the passenger front doesn't roll as smooth as the driver front. I pulled the hub off and did a close visual and i can see nothing wrong. No leaking, scaring, or looseness. Just the lack of rolling smoothness like the other side. Could this be a bad bearing?
- Go back in and check the brake pad thickness. The wear indicator will screech on the disk when the pad get thin. Wheel brearings don't usually make a high-pitched sound. They groan and moan and grind and the sound may change when you make a turn.
- Q: I know it all depends on preference, but is it worth upgrading from ABEC 5s to ABEC 7s?
- Yeah Tex pretty much nailed it. There are some abec 3's that are nicer than abec 7's. It really depends on the brand. Bones Swiss are nice, but overpriced imo. Bones Reds and Pleasure tool might be worth looking into as well, as long as they weren't made in China. If you go with shielded bearings you will need to clean them.
- Q: I just bought a 1996 Dodge Dakota, and it has a right pulling problem. I just got done jacking up the front end, and i tried rotating the tire on the passenger side. The tire would not move. Since i am going to be soon tearing this vehicle apart could the wheel bearings be siezed, or does it sound like a stuck caliper?
- It is likely a stuck brake caliper. You may have to knock the caliper off with a hammer after removing the bolts. Seized wheel bearings will make one h*ll of a racket. I have had wheel bearings seize before, but it locked up the front wheel while driving. I had to split the bearing race with a grinder and a chisel to get it off the spindle. It did not weld itself to the spindle however. The rollers in the bearing got wedged in the hub locking the wheel. I was able to reuse the spindle after replacing the bearings.
- Q: what does ABEC 7 Speedster bearings mean for roller blades?
- It basically means nothing. The use of ABEC ratings was an accident in inline skating. It is about bearings used in machinery that runs at extremely high speeds. Nothing about rolling better under the weight load or speeds for inline skating. Some of the bearings used for the early inline skates were so poor that any ABEC rating guaranteed that the bearings were reasonable. Then the manufacturer's got their advertising people into the act by bragging about a number that isn't important or expensive.
- Q: I have reds bones bearings and they were all fine until today. I got them over a month ago and haven't cleaned them. Today I ran over a pebble going fast and fell. Right after that my bearings on one of my wheels stopped spinning. I could ride but they don't spin when I spin them with my hand. I think something got in the bearings. It's both of the bearings in the wheel not just one. What could I do to check if there's anything in them? What do I do if there is? And how do I clean the bearings? What do I need? Thanks for helping!
- Yeah guy. of direction which would be advantageous. i've got achieved that earlier while i became into youthful because of the fact I had no longer the rest lol. Yeah, purely placed it on and roll your wheels and placed greater on. try this for some days in a row and your bearings would be spinning and spinning and spinning!
