The outer ring of drawn cup needle roller bearing is punched with the high-quality steel sheet. The outer ring has thin wall.The drawn cup needle roller bearing has the characterstics of small radial section area, large load carring capacity ,less inertia and economic manufacture. - Not long, as long as you can drop the oil pan without the crossmember or exhaust getting in the way. Probably about 30 minutes to an hour depending on skill level once the oil pan is dropped And make sure you follow proper torqueing procedures when reinstalling or you'll be replacing the entire engine next

- You may need a lot more than the bearings. If the wheel is really bad the cones may be shot with a possibility that the bearing cups are finished as well. If that is the case, your wheel is done, finished, toast. The only way to find out is to take everything apart. Don't buy anything until you have taken the axle out, the freewheel off and have inspected everything

- Ball bearings?? There are no ball bearings in the front end of a Ford Explorer, or any other car for that matter. Most cars use tapered roller(drum)bearings. They usually run 10-25$ per side, plus 5-15$ for new seals to put around them. Grease will be about 10$ for a can of good stuff. Do it yourself and save some money on the labor.

- well i say anything above abec five is pointless (unless its bones bearing, well because they are the best) but i would go with abec 7s. theylle will get worn out faster so i would just buy bones red because they last and are cheap.

- I used to roller skate when I was younger and I had abec 1 bearings which were very good at the time but I heard that the higher abec bearings were better but I'm only about 70% sure about that. If your comparing abec 5's against abec 7's they probably don't even make abec 1's anymore so I'm guessing that 7's are better
