Im trying to figure out if the inside has bearing because the bar in the spool doesn't come out at all. Is this normal or is it suppose to come out once you remove the white gear? Need help asap... - Speed demon bearings are pretty good, bones reds or swiss are better. lucky's are not the best, the best in the same price range would be bones reds. Quickies are pretty bad bearings, they seem to spin fast once there broken in but there not polished enough to be very fast.

- pull the wheels first, then you will have to remove the caps on the axles ( front ones ) , there is a tool to remove the nut that holds the wheel bearings in place , you have to remove that, the brake calipers and rotors will have to come off too, the rotor has the wheel bearings inside of it, the outter and inner, , use new bearings -they usually are under 30 bucks for the front bearings, and about the same for the rear bearings, the rear bearings are on the drive axle, so you will have to pull the axles to have the rear bearings removed, and they are pressed on, so you will need to take them to a shop with a press for r/r of the wheel bearings

You can drop them in the cleaner and wipe out the crud inside the housing, then dry them off good and allow to air dry then re-assemble. After that you'll need some oil or hi-speed grease to pack them with and put back together. For bearings that aren't servicable you have a couple choices, either oil them (which is messy and the dirt will stay inside, but they will be a little faster), or I think they sell some cleaner in a jar for about $8-10 you can drop them in which supposedly cleans them then you have to oil them. But I don't think it works that great Good luck
