Drawn Cup Needle Roller Bearing :

The outer ring of drawn cup needle roller bearing is punched with the high-quality steel sheet. The outer ring has thin wall.The drawn cup needle roller bearing has the characterstics of small radial section area, large load carring capacity ,less inertia and economic manufacture. It is suitable for small section heght, or when the housing bore isnot used for raceway , this type is recommended to use .The bearing is assembled into the housing bore under a certain pressure without fu rther axial location.

The draw up needle roller bearing generally takes its shaft diameter as the internal raceway .However , the proper LR type inner ring can be  used in accordance with application condition.

The draw up needle roller bearing has two structures-with retainer and with full of needles. They are are divided intoopenend type and close-end type. The structure with retainer has the single seal ring and double seal ring .The structure with full of needles has a large load carrying capacity.

Description:

1.The drawn cup needle roller bearings are needle roller bearings with the deep drawn, thin-walled outer ring with either an open end or closed end.

2. The bearings are characterized by a very low sectional height and high load carrying capacity

3. The bearings are typically used in applications where the housing bore can not be used as a raceway for a needle roller and cage assembly but where a very compact and ecnomical bearing arrangement is required.

4. Typically, drawn cup needle roller bearings have a single row of rollers. However, wide sizes incorporate two needle roller and cage assemblies immediately asjacent to each other with a lubrication hole in the outer ring.

Application Area:

Needle roller bearings are mainly used in car engines, transmissions, compressors, cranes, etc.

Q:i dont understand much about cars so can u explain it so i can understand
the bearings are the attachment points for spinning parts. they allow virtually frictionless rotation with oil lubrication. think of a hand held pinwheel. the propellor is turning on a shaft. this is an example of a bearing on a shaft.
Q:the bearings are abec 3's and they just dont seem to go as fast as they used to. any suggestions on how to make them go faster?
Bones Swiss or sawblade bearings, tensor street bearings
Q:I have a 1992 Camaro RS, LO3 305 TBI V8, Automatic, 125k miles. It had the oil changed awhile ago, not sure what they put in it, but when I picked it up, the engine was ticking (sounded like a lifter or failing oil pump). I've driven it a few thousand miles and it runs good and strong, but I've always noticed that the oil pressure guage reads low, between 5-25 psi. I'm concerned my bearings are shot. It normally starts up at 25psi and after driving 10-20 minutes, it reads 5-10 psi, and the ticking becomes slower. The engine never kills though. Could it just be a case of a bad sending unit, with to light of a weight of oil, or bad bearings? What are some common signs of bad bearing? The motor does not knock.
if your bearings are bad your engine would be knocking and would soon stop. it sounds like your bearings are worn which would give you low oil pressure. I would run the oil made for older engines that have wear like yours.and by the way try not to beat it to much it'll last a little longer
Q:The bearings on one of my longboard wheels got rusted. I feel like it's unnecessary to buy a whole new set of bearings when only two of them are messed up, but it's pretty noticeable. Any hope for fixing them? And don't suggest WD-40. It screws up your bearings.
I heard that soaking them in Coca Cola will get rid of the rust (but you gotta clean them realllly good after). Otherwise, you can buy another set of bearings, then when some of them rest, mix and match and throw out old, rusted bearings as needed.
Q:rollerblades btwi got water on them and then they were total slow, ive done the white spirit to get rid of all the grease and lubed them with 3in1 oil, will they be fast againsbtw, any1 who says wd40 im gonna report you because that completely ***** your wheels.cheers
Probably not. Water tends to ruin bearings. Once rust starts, it can='t be stopped without damaging the bearings. Get new ones. Try Bones Reds. 2 boxes for recreational skates, one for aggressive.
Q:I'm sick of decent bearings costing $50+ for a set. So i started looking at industrial bearings from reputable companies like Fafnir and Timkin, and I'm gonna try putting on non skate-specific bearings cuz they'd be cheaper. BUT I need to know the outside diameter of the bearing and the inside diameter. Only I don't have an exact way of measuring the dimensions. If you know, please help me out! THanks!
i wouldn't do that if i were you. i don't skate long boards myself, but as i'm changing my set up every few months, the LEAST important thing is bearings. just get them from the skateshop, but don't bother with the decent ones. you'd be surprised that there isn't much difference between bones ceramics and the cheapest skateshop bearings with no brandname. i've also found, the more expensive, the easier they break.so don't bother with industrial bearings, save time by getting the cheapest bearings from a skateshop. +/- $10.
Q:Car was making grinding noise while moving. Replaced both wheel bearings and the noise went away. Drove car for 2 days then suddenly on the highway the noise comes back. I was told I toasted the bearings because I didn't use the specific torque setting on the hub nut. Does anyone know the proper settings and procedure? Could it be something else?
I would recommend that you get a chilton or haynes manual from a parts store. They will have a detailed proceedure for exactly how to do this. It may be that you failed to grease pack the bearings correctly.
Q:Can someone tell me what are the best type and brands of skateboard bearings.
id okorder /
Q:We have a 1990 Plymouth Voyager and we need to put on new wheel bearings (well my husband says the whole hub)..does anyone know how to go about this?
okorder about getting those bearings. Good Luck!
Q:what is the diffrence between thrust and radial bearings?do redial bearing allow motion along the axis of the bearing?don't thrust bearing allow radial forces?i am confused, and i need some insight
I okorder /... which turn out to just be what I think of as normal or traditional ball bearings. No, radial bearings do not allow motion along the axis - normally there is a stop on the shaft to prevent this and continuous movement would damage the inner surface of the race or the shaft. Depending on the type of race, having any significant axial force would damage the bearing, as would occur in moving the shaft axially. Thrust bearings in theory are entirely for taking thrush along the axis and properly positioned radial bearings handle the radial forces of belts, chains, wheels, etc. A roller bearing or taper bearing would be used to handle both in one location. In practice, a thrust bearing with a ball race of the right shape will handle radial forces of a significant fraction of the rated thrust.
