The outer ring of drawn cup needle roller bearing is punched with the high-quality steel sheet. The outer ring has thin wall.The drawn cup needle roller bearing has the characterstics of small radial section area, large load carring capacity ,less inertia and economic manufacture. It is suitable for small section heght, or when the housing bore isnot used for raceway , this type is recommended to use .The bearing is assembled into the housing bore under a certain pressure without fu rther axial location.

- Q:what will happen?....will they go faster?
- You can soak anything in anything. The question is whether you should or not. In the case of steel bearings, they don't soak. They sit in whatever you put them in and are coated by it. My guess is that no food oil is going to be good for bearings used in machinery. Unless you intend to 'cook' them...and you will.

- If the bearings aren't sealed, blast the insides where all the little ball bearings are with a degreaser spray, or WD-40 if you have no degreaser. Repack the bearings with some white lithium grease. You can get that in a small tube for a couple bucks--plenty to do all your bearings with.

- You will want to make sure that your bearings are placed correct in your wheels and when you tighten the bolts down do not tighten too much. you wil actually want a tiny bit of slack in between your nuts and bearings as funny as that sounds. this will allow your wheels to roll more freely. If bearings are new the should sound fairly smooth but they take a while to break in. New Bone Reds are fast enough to where you wont need any lubricant but if you really must dont use any crap like wd40. actually get something worth your while
- Q:i heard people said it makes it stronger. but i dont know if they meant only to put the wheels inside to make the wheels stronger. because i dont want to break my bearings.thankz.
- yeah i put my wheels in the freezer every time i get a new pair, i would recomend putting the bearings in but when i freeze my wheels i freeze them in a solid block of ice for a month. i dont know if it works but ill take any advantage i can get
- Q:I've cleaned my 5000-C but the spool doesn't let line on unless you pull even with everything turned to the lowest. Im trying to figure out if the inside has bearing because the bar in the spool doesn't come out at all. Is this normal or is it suppose to come out once you remove the white gear? Need help asap... I've got two other Ambassadeurs and would love to use the 5000-C as another go to reel. Thanks!!!
- the only bearings on the 5000C are the ones at the ends of the spool shaft. one external, underneath the tension adjustment cap and the other inside the opposite sideplate, held in place by a small metal clip. *the only BALL bearings. other turning contact points have bushings which to a nit picker, are, in fact, bearings.

- Q:I have a 96 ford ranger with manual lockouts ive seen people say u need whole assembly for 2000 and up but when I look for it I can find any that will fit mine
- The 96' has regular taper bearings but it matters when getting the bearing you have to specify if your Ranger has the Dana35 or the Dana28 axle. NOTE: The 00' Ranger does have the Hub assembly style bearings.
- Q:I'm buying this old classic 1983 yz125 for like 200 bucks. The guy said it needs a piston and bottom end bearings. I'm just a little confused on what bottom end bearings are. Like crankshaft bearings? Also if you know where I can find parts for an 83 that would also help to lol.
- Ebay is the place to look for parts I have seen several complete crank set ups with rod and main bearings for $100 or less but be sure to Write the seller through Ebay and ask if he will guaranty it to be within factory specs and in usable shape if he replies with a yes then Ebay will force that he stand behind his word so it will be a safe purchase oh and don't forget to replace the Crank Seals also Note most shops will charge you $100 or more just to split down a crank and lots of them are not very good at it! It is a very tricky job and very few of the guys out there doing it actually know what they are doing well enough to truly do it right!

- Q:Some folks say that using them to go through or under the rubber cover on a tie rod end doesn't get grease into the joint itself. Sound reasonable?Many ball joints these days don't seem to be greasable with them at all -- am I missing something?Can the needles lubricate sealed bearings, and if so, what's the technique?
