Drawn Cup Needle Roller Bearing :

The outer ring of drawn cup needle roller bearing is punched with the high-quality steel sheet. The outer ring has thin wall.The drawn cup needle roller bearing has the characterstics of small radial section area, large load carring capacity ,less inertia and economic manufacture. It is suitable for small section heght, or when the housing bore isnot used for raceway , this type is recommended to use .The bearing is assembled into the housing bore under a certain pressure without fu rther axial location.

The draw up needle roller bearing generally takes its shaft diameter as the internal raceway .However , the proper LR type inner ring can be  used in accordance with application condition.

Q: had an oil cleaner run threw motor, this did not do any good.also had replaced oil pump. am at my wits end with this truck !!
ok so have you considerd the oil rings being worn? you didnt state if you did top end just crank and bearings so my thoughts are, that your top end is tired, you also didnt mention if it smoked at all, that would be an indication of worn rings. Just because you replaced your oil pump doesnt mean that you didnt get a faulty one, get a compression test done and that will let you know if it is rings.
Q: I have a racing bike. I've heard other racers using ceramic bearings in their wheels but not in their engines. Im based in Singapore btw.
Sure can and any of the better riders will have them in their bikes as they produce less friction. A company called Black Mamba have them Just goes to show how outdated some peoples advice can be as I could list any number of professional riders who use ceramic bearings in their bikes as they do make a difference. In the here and now a standard crf250r is around 36.5 on a dyno and to make them competitive they need to become at least 43. The ceramic bearings make the bike rev up quicker and smoother and any person who is a dyno specialist can tell a bike that has ceramic bearings in it just by that alone. So it does make a difference. Oh and thanks for the thumbs down mr B and I must say I just loved your answer to the 6ft tall guy who has a klx125 and you told him that it was the best bike for him to start racing on. I can just see a 6ft tall guy turning up to a mx track on his kiddies bike and finding no section to race in and being laughed out of the place. Perhaps you should ask Chad Reed if he runs ceramic bearing as I know the answer to that one. The question was also can you run ceramic bearings, not should I.
Q: I have a 2003 cavalier and the front wheels are making a clunking noise at low speeds and a loud grinding noise at high speeds. I had the tires rotate to see if it was something with the tires them selves, but the noise is still in the front. Are the bearings actually part of the wheels, and if it was the bearings I should hear the noise in the back now? Or are they part of the axle?
most bearings are a sealed unit . its the hub and bearing together the part is behing where the lug nut studs are if noise was in the front you rotate the tires and still hear the noise its going to be the hub bearing. also notice if the pitch of the sound changes when you turn if it does another indication the hub bearing is bad
Q: How do you find bearings?
Go online to a manufacturer of bearings. Link has some examples. Or look at a compass. but there are many meanings of bearings, you need to be more specific. .
Q: i just bought vapor XR3 inline hockey skates, and the bearings slow down the wheels more than i would like, so i was wondering which of these is smoother with less friction. keep in mind that the shop that i am going to has all ABEC rated labedas + swiss lite, and only up to ABEC 9 for bevo.

Q: The serpentine belt in my car came off somehow and I found it in the driveway (this was a few days after it had been replaced) and my dad told me to drive my car to the automotive place without it and if it overheated just to pull over, let it cool, and then keep going. it did overheat and I pulled over, but called AAA and had them tow me, now the guy fixing my car told me my alternator bearings have failed, and that it wasn't like that when he did the belt before. Was this from the drive there? or from something else?
Jennifer. You didn't hurt the alternator bearings by driving the car to the automotive store. Without the serpentine belt, the alternator and water-pump doesn't turn. Without the water-pump spinning is the reason the coolant temperature got hot. The alternator bearings were stiff or noisy before the belt spun off. In fact, that might have caused the belt to spin off. Too bad there isn't an automotive electrical shop or private mechanic nearby who couldn't split the alternator and slide on new bearings and brushes. The alternator will be as good as new! If you're pushed into a corner and it's necessary to purchase an new re-manufactured alternator call around for the best price with the *best lifetime warranty. Let me know how you make out.
Q: I've been searching my textbook and cannot find the types of bearings that are in a manual transmission. I need to know what types are in this type of transmission and when they are active (not being used). I know there's the pocket (pilot) bearing, but there are more. Can someone please help me figure this out? It's much appreciated. Thanks.
Mainshaft bearings, countershaft bearings, input shaft bearing.....some are tapered, some are roller, some are needle bearings.........
Q: Plz but the store/website down too! Thx
Cheap Skateboard Bearings
Q: The bearing of Y from X is 065 degrees. The bearing of Z from X is 030 degrees. XY is 15km and XYZ = 90 degrees. Work out a) XZY b) the distance YZ Is XZY 35 or 60? Or neither? I tried subtracting 90 from 30, and 65 from 30, and got those answers. Please help guys :)
If you carefully draw it out you will find that the angle YXZ is the difference in the bearings of 65 and 30. YXZ = 65 - 30 = 35 degrees as XYZ is a right angle or 90 degrees and we know the sum of interior angles on a triangle = 180 degrees, then XZY must = 180 - 90 - 35 = 55 degrees the length YZ can be found from the tangent function tan(XYZ) = opp/adj tan 35 = YZ/15 YZ = 15tan35 = 10.5 km
Q: what is the diffrence between thrust and radial bearings?do redial bearing allow motion along the axis of the bearing?don't thrust bearing allow radial forces?i am confused, and i need some insight
A radial bearing is designed to support radial loads while reducing rotational friction, but does not necessarily allow motion along the axis of a shaft. Thrust bearings are designed to support axial loads while reducing rotational friction. Bearings such as tapered roller bearings support both axial and longitudinal loads while reducing rotational friction which makes them suitable for applications such as vehicle wheel hub bearings.
