The outer ring of drawn cup needle roller bearing is punched with the high-quality steel sheet. The outer ring has thin wall.The drawn cup needle roller bearing has the characterstics of small radial section area, large load carring capacity ,less inertia and economic manufacture. It is suitable for small section heght, or when the housing bore isnot used for raceway , this type is recommended to use .The bearing is assembled into the housing bore under a certain pressure without fu rther axial location.

- WD-40 will atract any sort of dirt dust and will slow down your bearings. You should take each bearing apart and place it in something like nail paint remover, then buy some lube from your skate shop! works everytime

- Id say stear clear of skateboard brands that also make bearings, I only get 1 of two bearings, either bones reds, they range from $15-20, they are quick bearings right out of the box, they are relatively cheap and sturdy, bones swiss bearings will spin longer, so you wont have to spend as much time pushing, but they cost about $45-50. Dont waste you money on other bearing brands that use abec ratings, if you have the money for them id say the swiss are worth it, but if not reds are the way to go.
- Q: recently went to tire discounters to get some new tires, and they told me both wheel bearings were bad and my tie rod end was bad? me being a diy'r on most car things i said ill fix em, but they refused an alignment til my problems were fixed, though the wheel bearings aren't making any noise yet, i figured i would change them once i had the extra money to pick up a press and the bearings and shims i may need to press it in, if i replace just the tie rod end will they be able to align my car?
- Sure you can, but as soon as you back it off the rack, the alignment will change. Repack your wheel bearings before they burn up. It is easy and does not require a press (I generally do not use a press to do wheel bearings). Also change the seals while you are repacking the bearings.
- Q: 90 15ierra 4cyl 4 tech motor.oil pump came loose and rod bearins turned and have the motor up nd pn off. m just curous if theres an easy way to take them out?do i takeone out the turn the motor to get to th other bearings?
- are you sure only the rod bearings are affected and no damage to crank pin ? remove the oil pan and work under the engine. when you remove the oil pan you can have access to connecting rods, you just unbolt the rod cap and replace the bearings then re-torque back the cap's bolts. you may turn the crankshaft while working around on each rod..

- If you're asking this question, then the answer is probably no. Not because there isn't a tangible benefit to them, more so because you're probably not a strong enough cyclist to recognize the 0.5% improvement in efficiency. You're better off investing in lighter or more aerodynamic components, those will net you a far more noticeable improvement in performance.

- Q: So i have a longboard and the bearing it came with died on me. Changing my bearings for the first time, i had no idea what i was doing until i look to youtube. I did as they said but something fell out. It was my speed ring. So i changed themas i was told and i put the ring back on before the bolt. I dont know what i did but now it spins very fast but slows down IMMENSLY within 10 seconds of a spin test and stops abruptly. What happened? (note: i skated in the rain... Stupid me)
- Well if they are newer bearings you need to break them in what can take awhile depending on how much you skate... it can take a good day to a month or so just break them in and get them going... and from what I read online never use WD40 on them
