Q: should i clean my bearings with it or not
I wouldn't. It shouldn't matter if your bearings, unless you pressed them wrong, but if I were too, I wouldn't
Q: when should i buy new bearings? i've had modus titanium for a year now should i buy some new bearings?
If you see they stop after 2sec then your bearings needs to be changed as soon as possible but if they are slower you should clean them up with gasoline or lubricant I think that good skate board bearings will last maybe 8 or 9 month if you take care of them properly means cleaning them at least every two weeks.
Q: im looking for a good set of skateboarding bearings and trucks aswell, who makes like some really fast and good ones? and some pretty light and very sturdy trucks thx =)
the best available bearings are probably bone swiss supers they are amazing but are almost 40$ if you want pretty good bearings that arent as much try bone reds same company half the price and still amazingly good as for trucks i have destructo trucks but you should try maybe ventures or independence or tensors try getting medium hiegt though dont get low trucks they are harder to ollie with and dont give you much pop
Q: cylindrical roller bearings
You answered your own question.
Q: 4-ball bearings that i modded myselfhere's the link:
Basically, you've just reduced the load that the bearing can carry by about 50% and subjected each individual ball to almost double the force it originally carried. Yes, the reduction in the number of balls will cause the bearings to spin faster without a load, but since there are fewer balls and they are not evenly distributed, the outer races could distort and cause the bearing to become out of round. Basically you will have to replace the bearings more often, negating savings that the reds will give over better performing bearings.
Q: I went and had my local bike shop put a new freewheel on my bike today. While he had the wheel off he wiggled the rear axle, told me it was loose, and offered to adjust the bearings. Now my back axle makes a pinging noise while I'm riding. The noise is gone when the bike is on the stand with no weight on the axle. Can this be fixed and how much will it cost?
Could be the bearings are worn, like the other post said. The cones that the bearings spin on could also be pitted (worn), causing the bearings to run over a rough surface. There is also usually a dust shield that can be removed for easier access to the bearings - this is a really soft metal, and if popped out with a screwdriver, could be dimpled (i've seen it happen). Also, as the last guy said, a bent axle would also create that noise. Anyways, if this only started after your hub overhaul recently, I'd bring it back, and they should have no problem looking at it.
Q: Can anyone explain what the symtoms of main bearings being bad versus rod bearings? I think I have a slight rod knock and am going to try and replace the bearings but I wanted to know if I have to replace the main bearings too or if there is a way to know. Also does anyone know if I can replace the main bearings on my car without having to pull the engine out? I know I can do this for the rod bearings by taking oil pan off and replacing them...I have a 1996 honda accord LX

Q: Wich 1s should i use and why?
Abec isn't a brand you morons, it's a rating system. I've skated a few Rush Abec 5's before, they were really smooth bearings but they didn't last as long as some bearings I've had in the past. The only Blind Lifetakers I know of was a series of wheels they brought out about a decade ago, and they were horrible haha. If they are now doing bearings under the same name, I haven't tried them out. However Dwindle products (Blind, Almost, Enjoi, etc) have been great quality recently, so they might be worth a try. I'm sorry that wasn't much help on your decision, but with a lot of things in skateboarding, you have to try them out for yourself to see if you like them personally, as different people like different things. I personally skate Bones Super Swiss, they are expensive but a set usually lasts me about 2 years, so they are worth the money in the long run.
Q: This is a technical question depending small losses for example in clean room applications (every particle matters...)
I assume you have tried shielded bearings, where the grease is contained inside covers that prevent its loss? Or possibly you do not have the funds to replace the bearings? Etc. I do not know the size of your pump/motor or whatever the bearing is on. I will tell you I have seen in an industrial setting on what I would call a small pump, they actually put a bag around the bearing housing to catch grease. Of course, the shaft ended at the housing so the bag did not have to come in contact with the rotating assembly. You could probably get more useful answers if you re-ask your question describing the size and physical configuration of the bearings and their housing.
Q: I need to upgrade my wheels and probably bearings for my roller blades they are a 64mm wheel on right now and i know NOTHING about wheels and bearings, like do I have to stick with the same size wheel, can I use current bearings on there etc... I know I would like a nice smooth ride and preferably a gel type wheel... I am on a budget so I know going with a little lower grade bearing and a better wheel will optimize performance on a budget. I am in Canada so an international or Canadian seller is a must and I would like to have a name or model number so I know what to look up specifically if possible please and thank you!
