The outer ring of drawn cup needle roller bearing is punched with the high-quality steel sheet. The outer ring has thin wall.The drawn cup needle roller bearing has the characterstics of small radial section area, large load carring capacity ,less inertia and economic manufacture. - Q: Okay, I have a 99 olds intrigue 3.8 with 100k miles. Recently, I started noticing a clicking noise when turning right. I replaced both CV axles, and it did not go away. This noise ONLY happens when the car is on the ground. it happens in neutral or drive, braking or no braking, and only happens when I trun right. Now, recently I noticed the car makes a horrible grinding noise when the wheel is LOCKED to the left under acceleration. (like making a U-turn). Could both noises be caused by a bad wheel bearing? or bearings?

- For a skateboard deck, you cant go wrong with getting either a girl or a chocolate. i have had both and I loved them both. They were the two best boards that I had ever had. They have great pop and awesome durability. I will always ride these two boards and nothing else. For your wheels, you cant go wrong with getting spitfires. A lot of people like spitfires, and once you have a pair you will love them. For bearings, you cant get any better than bone reds. I just recently got a pair a few months back and they are still in very good condition. They are fast and they roll really smooth. And last but not least, the trucks. - Q: can i make my own ball bearings for hubs, bottom bracket, etc. from a ceramic mug or the like? if its possible, what tools do i need? can i get it done at a machine shop? i would only do this if its cheaper than buying them pre-made, which in case you didnt know, can cost several hundred dollars for a full set.
- oh man I hope you're kidding. for the time and effort you spend trying to get a complete functional set of ceramic bearings (which aren't the same stuff as a coffee mug anyway) you could get a second job at McD's and afford 3 real sets.
- Q: My buddy bearing popped out. I think grease got all over the wheel. How do I clean the wheel and repack the beaing with grease once I put on the new buddy bearing.
- Easy-simply stick the buddy back and pump it full Hard-spin your tire with it in the air, if it sounds rough ( may be if you ran it on the road dry ) this i what you need to do to.. with that wheel jacked up take the cotter pin/hub nut off. Pull on the hub til the hub, inner/outer bearings, seal come off the spindle. Take the old bearings to a trailer parts place and get new bearings ( 10$ ). Get some bearing grease from walmart and with a latex glove on work the grease into the bearings reassemble the hub in reverse order and you ought to be god to go. Its fairly easy; I have done it on the side of the highway in 5 minutes. If you ran the trailer and the bearings ran dry youd want to replace them or you can end up on the side of the highway lookin for where your wheel went. As for cleaning the rim, good ol soap and water works fine.

- If you ask me, all of them are overpriced and over rated. If I were you, I would try out some Japanese Destructo Sendai bearings. I have been skating with them for 2-3 years and even skated into a pool with them and they havent rusted. They run super fast and smooth, even after skating into the pool with them. I have tried just about every Bones bearing and none of them are really worth the price except reds. The sendais are a lot better than anything I have ever tried. All of the bones are ok, but the only real perk is that you dont have to clean them. Try reds or sendais.

- If the noise increases with speed yes, check your rear differential to see if its low on fluid and get the bearings changed out. Bearing seals also may be leaking diff oil over your rear brakes.
