- I have had a problem with my press cookies also. It is usually when my kitchen is too warm or when my butter is too warm. If I have this problem I just pop the bowl of cookie dough in the refrigerator for a bit and then try again. I also put the bowl back in the refrigerator in between batches. I see that you used confectioners sugar also and I usually use a 1/2 cup of granulated sugar for my press cookies that could also be part of your problem. Good Luck!
- Q: I can't lift the bar without it leaning a bit to the left or right and my repetitions are pathetic. I'm almost 15, 110 lb and I started lifting last month. I had a trainer and he told me to just do dumbbell presses. I'm doing 15s on the dumbbells but it's embarassing because most of my friends brag about benching their bodyweight. My trainer recommended that I should do 15 reps comfortably with the 45lb bar before putting weights on. Will I ever be able to bench my bodyweight? when my current dumbbell press doesn't even level with how much the bar weighs?
- ya this is typical you wont be able to bench your body wight right of the bat.. lol it might take a while but before you know it youll be doing fine.. follow your trainer. although i don't like trainers because all they want is you're money but for now it fine. do push ups it gives you a 10 percent better bench press strength. but you should not just do bench press thats really pathetic. you dont wana be walking around with a big chest and boat arms right lol.
- Q: Explain the garlic press to me. Are you just supposed to squeeze juice from it, or does the press mince it up? And do you get the same results if you just finely chop a clove of garlic with a knife? My friend says a garlic press is a must-have for the kitchen but I've never owned one.
- It depends on what you are making and how fine you want the garlic to be. I have a press, but I hardly ever use it because I cut it up really fine and if I want to mince it, I simply press it with a spoon, so no it is not a must in the kitchen. I recently bought a garlic grinder which works much better, let's me decide how fine I want the garlic and its a whizz to clean, unlike the press which is a headache. I forgot, the press minces it.
- Q: I need to teach my players what to do when a team is full court pressing us. Also, do u no a site that will telll us how to break a full court zone press? Is there a big difference between full court press and a full court zone press?
- There can be a big difference in a m2m full court press and a zone full court press. It depends on how the zone press is going to work. There are many versions of a zone press. Now as far as giving you websites... I could give you all sorts of websites, but it will not help you instruct your players unless you have an understanding on how to break a press in general. If I were you, I would be an assistant to start out with and let someone who knows the game coach the players. I have coached basketball for 15+ years and have seen alot of coaches who think they know what they are doing and wind up getting beat by 20+ points every time they put their team on the court.

- Recently I've been using Maybelline Dream Matte Powder, it's all right. If you have the budget I'd recommend you try Clinique or an expensive brand such as this, as they offer a skin analysis and then choose the products suited to you. www.clinique .uk then click my skin report But if you're a bit skint like me then you could try something like Maybelline or L'Oreal. Ask the assistant in the shop for a hand if you need it - that's what they're there for. x
- Q: i have a drill press but i cant figure out how to reverse the drill after i have drilled the hole.. help
- 1. Stand behind it. 2. Switch the wiring around to reverse polarity. 3. Move it to below the equator. 4. Pray very hard for God to change it. 5. Tell it that it is no longer politically correct to run in forward. 6. There is no reverse on a drill press.

- Q: Hey, I have recently purchased a free weight bench press. But I can't always have a spotter and I have seen some bench presses that have safety rails to the bar cant fall on you.Is there anywhere I can purchase some safety rails? Are they only for a specific bench?
- There are safety rails but they can be pricey that can be used for any bench. I have included some website on bench press safety. I would suggest if you can't afford a safety rail then do use a spotter if you are using a straight bar. If you don't have a spotter try doing incline presses or flies with two free weights or different kinds of push-ups. Push-ups are a great way to built the chest. We just recently lost a high school football player to a bench press accident. He was working out alone and his mother came home and found him dead so please be safe while working out.
- Q: Do you really need to buy a 4 color printing press to print more than one color on a shirt? Can't you just buy a 1 color printing press, do the first color, take off the screen, put the next screen and do the second color? Third color?
- You can defiantly just use a single colour press, however this will take up a lot more time and also reduce the quality as it will be difficult to align the press in the same position as the previous colour, this would probably contribute to a lot of waste too. It would depend on your clients, are you going to have a lot which are after 3 or 4 colour printing or are you going to be catering for those who are after fewer colours?
