- Q: I'm having a hard time visualizing this. I have two small black tables, a black loveseat, black TV with a black (or soon to be silver stand) and a bright red chaise lounge. I know going with a neutral beige rug would be good, but what is another different color I can go with in a rug? Bonus points if you can also tell me a good color for one accent wall... :)
- I would say the rug in a gold with black accents.. darker than a beige. No lighter than a tan. The accent wall I would make a muted earthy yellow. Other wall options - a sage green (medium muted green).
- Q: Your bathrooom rugs can you dry them in the dryer? or let them air dry?
- That's the $64,000 question. If you wash the rugs and allow them to air dry, they won't look fluffy. They'll look a little matted. You can fluff them a little with a clean hair brush after they've dried or run them through the dryer on Fluff...but to make the rugs look really fluffy and pretty, you'll need to dry them in your dryer. If you dry the rugs in your dryer, the rubber backing will break down. It's a Catch-22. So your choices: 1. Wash them in Cold water and let them air dry. Then fluff them with a hair brush...or run them on the no heat option. This will preserve the rubber backing, but the rugs won't be as fluffy as they looked new. - or - 2. Wash them and dry them in the dryer. This will make the rugs beautifully fluffy, but the backing will come off in pieces. Good luck. -
- Q: How about carpet airdrop?
- Relative to the second operation, the more waste of time, but also easy to disrupt the existing fleet, it is recommended to use the first one, with more practice, 10 aircraft carpet airdrop, is easily done.
- Q: colour-not quiter pink-not orange-2 choices I have seen- background medium to lighter green rug with same paprika colour it-abstact pattern or background almost same as sofas with some light green and light blue--is it better to have mor colour that matches sofas or introduce new coulor and pop the sofa colour in it? Help please? Thanks so much!
- For the rug not to stand out to much you need just a little color that matches the couch or walls or what ever else you have in the room if you can't match then use earth tones. Also make sure you pick a color that is easy to keep clean. Never get to much of the same color in a room.
- Q: What type of rugs do you need for a horse? And when and why do you use them? Thanks
- I believe the Christ Puncher has experience tanning horse hides. I'm not sure if they've ever been used as rugs before. Hopefully he'll see this question and shed some light on the subject.
- Q: hi there, i just purchased a yoga dvd (to do at home), and i was wondering if it can be done on carpet (as my whole house is carpeted!) will it be bad to do it on carpet? if it is
- Carpeting can be too soft and slippery, and using yoga mats on carpet can be problematic because they tend to bunch up and are often feel too “squishy”. If you’re experiencing these problems then you might be interested in the LifeBoard. But my advice is that it is not good to practice yoga by seeing dvd or something like that. Better to praise under the guidance of a guide. :)
- Q: Would a chestnut suit this rug?
- Of course like others have said, any color initially will be fine, aslong as it does the job but if you are looking to make a chesnut stand out. I find purple to be a good color and also green, but make sure you get the right colored green. a medium/dark green , really bright or really dark does not look as good.
- Q: We have rugs in our house that cover a large area because we have wooden floors. We have had them for a few years and there is a lot of dust that is sand colored that doesn't go away easily even with vacuuming. My mom thinks its just backing from the rug and it's normal. Were planning to get rid of them soon but is this dust/sand stuff really harmful to breathe in? It's been there for years but we don't move them around or anything.
- If the dust is not in the air it should be alright.
- Q: I'm getting new carpets, and need to get rid of my old one, what tools do I need, also, what do I with the nails and do I need to rip up all the carpet, even when the carpet meets the door or the edges of a wall?
- You will need a tool to cut the carpet, a pry bar and elbow grease. Cut the carpet in manageable lengths and start pulling. The hardest part is getting the tac strips up and staples pulled up
