- Q: Just bought an area rug, and I can't decide if it looks good. The area is small - and I get the feeling that it closes it in even more. But it also looks bare if there isn't something there...what do you think?Any advice would be wonderful! (Also, your take on the coffee table? Should it be gone or a different one or is that one ok?)

- Q: I have a Large area rug that I need cleaned. A woman that had a HOUSE TRAINED dog gave it to me. I want to clean it as the dog walked and layed down on this rug as well. The dog never urinated on this rug which is good. It just smells like dog so I want to get it cleaned. I don't think a rug doctor will do the trick. Does anyone out there know where I can take it to be cleaned. Again this a LARGE. thanks. - There are LOTS of solutions at your local Lowe's/ Home Depot. Ask them for plastic to go over carpet that will stick and stay there. Not temp stuff for walking, either. Also look at Office depot and such. The things that you put on carpet for chairs to roll on might be a great idea. Also, you may wanna get a cat scratch post to put by the door?

- You can go to Sears or the like and get a large rubber back bath rug. They are washable, come in a ton of colors and don't skid. No accidents in baby's room!
