Q: i have a brown room with red draps and red bed sperad//what color should i get my carpet?
You have a lot of strong colors going on. Ground it with a neutral beighe carpet. If you want add some interest with texture. Try a cut berber, it is comfortable and will ground the room and still add some style
Q: What kind of material is good for home bedroom carpet?
Silk leather carpetSilk carpet leather in ancient times has been, its productivity is small, the material is limited, this kind of silk carpet leather cost is not high, with the development of society, now the leather silk carpet has been rare, this material is also quite expensive carpet prices, in the ordinary family. The use of this carpet is also smaller.
Q: What color carpet is suitable to match on annatto floor?
Depending on the style of your room and the furniture you have at home, you can make light grey, silver, black, and carpet with geometric figures or lines. If you have green plants next to you, you can also try green carpets. They will match up a little.
Q: I accidentally dropped my red nail polish on to my carpet... i tried using windex - it faded it a little bit- but i can still see it! anything else i can try? and i am going to have a carpet cleaner person come and clean my carpets so will they be able to get it all out? and could there be a reaction from mixing the windex with the carpet cleaner? PLEASE HELP!
Things You'll Need: Nail Polish Remover (Acetone), Window/Glass Cleaner, Hair Spray, Shaving cream, Oxy Clean, Butter Knife (or similar shaped object) Paper Towels. 1. Take a deep breath! The nail polish stain can be removed from the carpet. First begin to lightly dab the Acetone Nail Polish remover on the stain with paper towels. (Make sure you test it on a small spot on your carpet first to be sure it doesn't stain). 2. Slowly dab up the nail polish stain using the nail polish remover and paper towels. If all of the stain does not come up try spraying hairspray and/or shaving cream on the nail polish. Use small amounts and gently scrub the stain out. I recommend using a scrubbing brush (such as one used to wash dishes) or a toothbrush to really get the stain out. You can also use the butter knife to try and work the stain out if it is beginning to dry. At this point you may also want to try spraying window or glass cleaner on the nail polish stain. This helped quite a bit in removing the stain on my carpet. 3. Be sure to continue to use paper towels to soak up the nail polish stain from the carpet and make sure you do not get the carpet too wet. 4. Once you remove the nail polish stain, allow the carpet to dry. If there is still light staining, try using Oxy Clean to get the last of it out. Tips Warnings Be patient. It takes awhile to remove a nail polish stain from a carpet..Be Gentle. You do not want to work the stain into the carpet any more than it already is..The first product you try may not work. Keep trying until you see what works for you..Always test sections of your carpet with any item you decide to use to remove the nail polish stain. Do this in a closet or somewhere it will not be noticeable if it stains..If you cannot get the stain out, call a professional carpet cleaner. Better safe than sorry..Do not cut the carpet..
Q: I want to have like a bright teal color of carpet in my bedroom but I'm having troulbe finding it. Does anyone know where I can find some? Thank you!lt;3
If you mean wall to wall carpeting, you just have to check at carpet stores until you find the colour you want. They might or might not have every colour in stock but you can look at their samples. If you mean an area rug, it will be really hard to find. I looked for a teal-tone area rug for a couple of years until I found one at Ikea. You can have carpet off a roll cut to size and bound on the edges, too, for an area rug.
Q: what is everyones opinion on carpet vs carpet tiles. price ability to keep clean etc. thanks
I have both commercial quality carpet tiles and also carpet in our house. I am very handy so installed the carpet tiles myself. The commercial qaulity have a heavy backing that makes the tiles stay down without glueing. We had baseboards made from the tiles also....4 high and I glued them around the room. Looks fabulous. But you can use wood baseboards also. Carpet tiles are easy to install, just follow the instructions in the box. If you need to you can make a template out of paper to make a pattern. Then lay the paper pattern upside down on the backside of the tile to cut the tile following the pattern lines. But remember you have to lay it one the tile upside down to cut the pattern out of the tile correctly. Think about this carefully to do it right. We had our carpet tiles for 19 years in a high traffice area...in the hallway coming into our house from the garage. We're always in and out of thru the garage. They still look like new 19 years later...and we do have some extra pieces to replace if we ruined any but we haven't. I got these commercial grade for less than 1/2 price since they were left over from a big commercial job. I also put the carpet tiles in the basement in my husbands office. Have lasted 15 years and still look like new. Both are darker colors so dirt doesn't show. Have never had to clean or wash them....I just vacuum them often. But if I needed to wash or clean them I'd take them outside and brush some light soapy water on them then hose them down and stand them up to dry out well before putting them back. If you're going to use carpet tiles get commercial quality though...they are much heavier and wear better. I love them. We also have carpeting in our living room and dining room and bedrooms. Those I need professionally cleaned periodically. And of course if it's wall to wall carpet it needs to be installed by the company you're buying the carpet from...you can't do it youself. Good luck with your decision.
Q: Carpet has rich patterns, gorgeous colors and diversified shapes, which can beautify your decorative environment and reflect your personality. According to the usage, carpets are divided into commercial carpets and artistic carpets.
According to the use position of carpet, it is divided into floor carpet and wall tapestry or wall carpet. 1. Floor carpet is the most traditional carpet category with the largest consumption. It is mainly used for floor laying in various places, which mainly reflects its use value. It is generally dominated by various colors and patterns, and it is mainly medium and low-end products. 2. Wall tapestries are mainly used for wall decoration and embellishment. They are generally based on landscape paintings and figure paintings in famous traditional paintings. They are mainly hand woven and have high ornamental value. Due to the high cost, they are generally used only by rich families and high-end places. Carpets can be divided into machine-made carpets and hand-made carpets due to different production methods. The machine-made carpet also includes tufted carpet, woven Wilton carpet and woven Axminster carpet.
Q: My mother wants to get an oriental rug appraised before perhaps selling it to be cut up. (It's very big but has some rips.) Is it worth getting it cleaned before the appraisal? Thanks!
If you have ever seen them clean an oriental rug you would say nothing would be worth the cost. Here is what they do and you can do it yourself. Lay the rug on the driveway. Take a scrub brush on a pole and using rug cleaner scrub it. Then rinse it off with a garden hose and hang it over a railing to dry.
Q: Saturation bombing and carpet bombing is one thing?

Q: Right now, I have wood flooring in my house built in the 1930s. Is there a chance that there could be carpet under the original hardwood flooring?
Original wood from the 30s absolutely will not have carpet under it.. Especially if its the original wood there would be no need for anything under it,,Aside from maybe tar paper to help prevent noise. But even back then that I m not sure about. GL
