It s a thin rubberymat you put under your rugs to hold them down and wont react w/ your vinyl like the backing is know to your vinyl.. - There are two reasons why we need carpets. The first is that when you have to pee really bad and can't make it to the bathroom, you can just pee on the floor and it will soak it up nice and tidily. The second reason is because carpets are warmer than wooden or cement floors and are softer on you toesies. I recommend carpets if you have arthritis. Also, carpets should be pink with black skulls on them. and maybe a blue turtle.

- You want to do this at a laundromat, biggest machine possible. in cold water, bleach the rug. You may put additional bleach in the compartment where the fabric softener goes, and it will bleach it again on the rinse cycle. After you dye it, as a courteousy to the next person, run it through a cycle with detergent, empty. Or you can do a load of dark, old clothes, like blue jeans. To dry it, lay it on a flat surface, turning it occasionally, and avoid direct sunlight, ideally it will be in the shade on a warm, breezy day. - Try diluting some vinegar in water and shampooing with that. Vinegar is used to cut oven cleaner cleaning solution making clean up easier, maybe it will work on the soap. My concern is how much water are you putting on the carpet? Saturating it could be damaging the under layer, promoting mold. You might consider cutting out that section, taking it to the sink or tub and running water through it until completely soap free, plot as much as possible out, let air dry and then use double sided carpet tape to reinstall it in the hall. They use carpet tape when installing carpeting when it must be seamed, so it's not a freakish idea.

- ok when you unzip or un rar the file it goes into programs/eagames/sims2/do= wnloads or wherever your sims2 is located. then it should show up in game u= nder the matching catagory. like when i just put new pictures for wall in a= nd they are under the picture section in buy mode. the new skins are in the= make a new family mode with the astrix. the new archectecture is under build mode. if they are not showing you can try the loop symbol for the main catagory it shows everything not broken by type like all plants all wall hanging all rugs in that section. double check you have them in the eagames sims2 download folder not in temp or elsewhere WHEN YOU ARE IN DECORATING MODE JUST TAP TO OPEN THE COROSPONDING PICTURE...RUGS HAVE RUGS PICTURE FRAME HAS WALL THINGS LIKE POSTERS AND PAINTINGS, THE FLOWERS HAS FLOOR AND TABLE STUFF LIKE VASES AND CANDLES.
