Q: hi im 14 and love stuff for my room, i just got it re-painted and i got new things for it, today i purchased a rug from Home sense, its 5 by 7 and really nice, it was $159 canadian dollars but was originally(get this) $300!it was made in china and says its hand made the brand/company is:Momeni its soft and pretty but all the rugs there were made in India and stuff...what do ui do..its non-refundable.: Yes.

Q: how to stretch existing carpet?: That's a power stretcher. Place either with the head about 1/2 away from the wall and either kick the carpet onto the tack strip or engage the handle of the power stretcher to pull it on to the T/S. Note: make sure the carpet is secure on the tack strip BEHIND you, so the stretch can happen. You may need to gently kick along one wall to move the carpet up onto the tack strip, and then put some muscle into the kicks along the opposite wall. It is also a good idea to kick the corners first -on a diagonal (the corner on the left in front of you, then the one on the right BEHIND you -then reverse it. If the room is mall enough, the kicker will do the job, but if it is big, you'll need BOTH kicker and power stretcher.

Q: I have pets. Is it okay to have a solid floor, like tile or terrazo, on my living room floor and just put a big rug on it instead of carpet? Do you thik that will hurt the resale value of the home?: I myself hate carpet in my house. I see more and more people leaving the carpet out now days. Q: Water was spilled on his rug a few days ago and now the smell of skunk where the water was spilled is becoming overwhelming. Tried scrubbing it with soap but once it dried the smell came back. I would try undiluted white vinegar. Pour it on the spot and let it soak in for a while (put a towel under the rug so it doesn't soak through to the floor beneath). Blot it up and allow to dry. Pour baking soda powder on it overnight and then vacuum. If that doesn't work and you have direct sun where you are located...sit the rug out in the sun for the day. Sometimes the UV light from the son will kill any bacteria if the stain is some food item decaying. If you get the smell to decrease but not go away entirely....febreeze it at the end.

Q: I recently had new carpet installed in my home, and I was confused that the name of the color I picked out at the showroom was called quot;Fawn's Leapquot;, but 3 weeks later when the installers arrived, the tag on the carpet roll was named quot;Creston Winter Minkquot;. I called the carpet store and asked them if this was the same carpet I picked out since it seemed a bit lighter in color. They assurred me that it was the same carpet, and that the factory that made it uses that name, whereas the store uses the other for generic purposes. I kept a swatch to compare later on at the showrroom. But is this common with the carpet industry?: This has happened to me with drapery...I think it's quite common, the colour was exactly the same.

Q: can the welcoming red carpet paved outside the hotel door be used in rooms?: no, it will be damaged because of a long time friction. there is professional engineering carpet.

Q: my mom wants to get a big but not too big or expense dragon rug. Where can she get it online? That really looks like a dragon? every time my mom searches for dragons rug on the computer she gets weird and not dragon rugs or even close to it. We live in a small town so the stores around here do not any dragon anythings. sO where can she find one that is worth the prices and the right size and looks like a real dragon and not a blob?: I don't know if it's what you're looking for but I got a rug from Ikea for my son that has two Chinese dragons on it. It's blue with a green dragon on each end. It's about 2 feet by 4 feet it was about $30 Canadian
