Q: I have tried rug cleaning sprays and powders and vacummed it many times. I don't know what else to do and don't want to replace my rug!: vinager or lestoil - you can shampoo with it too - alot of those sprays do not kill enzymes

Q: What is the average cost to remove carpet?: If you do it yourself, you will save the labour charges. To remove wall to wall carpet, you need to have a good carpet knife; a good HD vacuum, and a smooth edge nail puller. Simply pull off the carpet from the smooth edge strips, then remove the strips with a nail puller. You may want to sand the floor where the nail strips were, but use steel wool and you won't have as much work for the refinish. OR call up a carpet removal/installer for his quote for the job.

Q: Do i need to use a carpet stretcher to install carpet.If i don't use one will it still work alright: The stretcher is a key component. Without the stretcher you could end up with wrinkles in the carpet and the edges may pose a problem.

Q: We have off white carpet (which is now brown and stained) that is 10 years old. We have two toddlers (more to come) and 3 dogs. The dogs come in from outside right onto the carpet. I am looking for a flooring solution that will meet our needs. I expect our future holds many more carpet stains so I am looking into carpet tiles for our family room. I know, not pretty but functional. What do you all think? Are there some higher quality carpet tiles whereby our family room won't look like cheap office carpet? We don't want tile and we do not want laminate as we need soft floor for dogs and kids. Real hardwood would be nice but price prohibitive. Please let me know if you have any experience with carpet tile and what your general outlook on carpet tile/squares is. P.S. when we sell the house we would go ahead and put in new quot;realquot; carpet before we move.: Sounds to me like a good solution to your problem and I think it would lead to much less stress on your part. The office building I work in uses carpet tiles and they come in many shapes and sizes. I am sure you would be able to find one that was attractive and functional for your needs.

Q: After two weeks I am filling up my bagless vacuum cleaner compartment with carpet fibers. It's not the loop that is coming out it's fiber. You can also take the toe of a rubber soled shoe and scrape it across the carpet and get the same results. Is this normal for this carpet? Q: I am currently in the process of switching apartments need some quick/cheap ways to remove old and hard as heck to remove stains from my carpet, so that the management won't make me pay for the stains!!!xtra info- the carpet is older , it's your basic cheap carpet and is beige/cream in color!!!Any ideas/solutions will be greatly appreciated, just remember I want the cheapest, most effective quickest ways to remove stains from older carpet!!!: Try Resolve spot carpet cleaner. It may clean too well and make the rest of the rug look dingy. You can also rent a steam cleaner and their chemicals fairly cheaply at super markets or places like Home Depot for less than $100. You can have it professionally cleaned for something like $150-200 for up to 450 sq. ft.

Q: What's the purpose of an excercise rug? Does it really keep your horse warmn just on rhe hindquarters? But don't horses usually heat up with work. Can it be used walk,trot canter and too jump? I just want to know the purpose of this.: It used to keep horses warm during work, mainly horses that are body clipped and don't have any hair to protect themselves from the cold. It's especially great for before warm up and to help with cool down as well. Several have ones that wrap around the riders legs as well to help keep them warm too. You can ride in all the gaits with it, although I haven't seen many people jump with them.

The correct description for the Earth crust is a rug. As like a rug it's spread over a surface but not tied or nailed to it. It's purely talking description and not shape.

Any hope?: I am assuming this is just a bathroom throwrug, so there shouldn't be any reason why you couldn't just throw it in the washer. I would also think if you use the makeup remover cloths (like you use on your face) before washing, that should loosen up and dissolve it so it will rinse out in the wash. It is gently enough to use on your face- so it should be gentle enough for your rug. A laundry pretreatment like Oxi-clean, and regular detergeant with a non-chlorine bleach should get the rest out. The big worry with 100% cotton is if it will shrink in the dryer- but I've not had a bathroom rug do that if I used low heat until it was just damp dry, and then hung it to air dry completely. Look at the back and see if there is a care tag to say if it can be dried or not. If all else fails, and you are left with a few spots stained, maybe you could consider doing a dye job, a shade darker- to cover. Good luck with the cleaning. I have six kids, and long ago gave up on white and beige anything for just this reason!
