Q: I live on an island and we only have one power company they have taken our power away from us and because we were stealing power from them and would have to pay a hefty fee which we decided not to pay. we are running on a diesel generator right now but i was wondering if natural gas or propane generators are cheaper and or more efficient. ive checked the gas suppliers website for prices but it wasnt very helpfull.I would need a generator that is about 15 kW: If you have a natural gas pipeline then that's what I would use. Nat gas burns the cleanest, no soot, no mess, no fuel filters to clean, the motor oil lasts longer, no tanks to get water and gunk in. no fuel stabilizers needed, no fuel spills and no tank certifications, etc. With a pipeline you won't have to go shag and store fuel and you won't run out. Even in a wide spread power failure the nat gas is usually not affected. If you have to lease or rent a nat gas tank THEY have to certify it against leaks.

As for carbon output Assume 0.4 # of fuel per horsepower per hour. Assume the engine is run at about 50% most of the time the freight train is cruising. So for a 7000 hp locomotive, that'd be an average power output of 3500. So far the algebra gives us 1400 # mass of fuel used every hour. Most freight trains I've seen run like 4 locos, maybe more if it's a really long consist and there're more inclines to pull up. So that'd be like 5600 # of fuel for every hour that train is moving. But wait! Remember how much stuff that train's hauling! It's literally HUNDREDS of semi trucks worth of stuff, so to complicate this, you have to also know the length of run (in hours) and the load so you can get the carbon output per ton of cargo. After all that you must figure the percent by weight of Carbon in diesel fuel. Sorry, but I'm not doing that homework. Good question, BTW. Also, I did this calculation in my head for a commuter train last year and figure that the equivalent fuel mileage is like 50 mpg per person. Sure beats commuting in the family Status Urban Vehicle, huh!

It gets regular maintenance and is in great shape. I've been looking online but can't seem to figure out how much it's worth.: $8,000-$15,000 depending on the exact model and much more information. Generators have as many options as cars, and that is why the prices vary.

Firstly Remove The Battery Store It Safe Location.Disconnect The ,Diesel lines,Wirings,Cables,- Sesors, Modules, Then Disconnect,Gear BellHousing,Torque Coverter If There,Engine Mountigs, All Water Lines,A/c Connections,Front Grill,If You Need The Bonnet Also, Put The Rope Put Cross Bar- Tie Properly Care The Mudguards,Pull The Engine With Sufficiant Manpower Or Crane Nor Lifter. Check Once More before Takeout The Engine Assy-Wheel Blocks,Support To The Gear Box,Door Lock, Safe The Key,Nobody Not Allowed Inside The Car, Before Pullout Check Again And Make Sure Nomore- COnnections Arrange The Table Keep Everythings Ready Pullout Keep On The Table Check Externals. Make More Dismantling The Engie Take To Machine Shop They Knows What Nee for Your Engine. If Over machine Work Bring To Spot Selct New Parts What You Need Do Accordingly.
