Q:If electric vehicles included a generator they could charge the battery while moving. It seems the best choice to me.: Because a generator runs on gas. And they do have regenerating chargers while the car is moving. They just are not a typical generator

Q:Hello, I am putting an HHO generator, which is metal plates in water in pvc pipe, into my small pickup truck. I am having a bit of trouble finding an EFIE unit though, which is the boy that goes in line in front of the 02 sensor, to give it a bit more juice and stop it from dumping more gas in when it thinks there is not enough air (but way too much HHO) in the system.Are there any automotive forums that you all would direct me to? And if not, are there any manufacturers of finished EFIE units, or even kits to build them, on the internet or elsewhere for me to utilize?I want to get this done before I leave for college. Gas prices suck!: The HHO generator is a scam. First of all, that little generator is not going to make enough hydrogen, efficiently enough to help your fuel economy. Second, hydrogen does not help your fuel economy. Hydrogen gas burns very differently than gasoline or diesel vapors. If you were going to try to run your internal combustion engine on hydrogen, you would have to modify it so much with such an unsatisfactory result that you'd be better off buying a purpose built hydrogen combustion engine. All the companies that sell the HHO generators only sell plans. There are no kits that I know of avaliable for purchase. In fact, this is one of the biggest clues that HHO is a scam. They only sell plans, that way if it doesn't work for you, they can always claim you made a mistake and that's why it doesn't work. Besides, you'll void your warrenty.

Q:i mean from off state to ON State,the amount of diesel it reqiures to burn out.: the injection systems only variable is for the control of rpms during operation. during the start up process rpms are less than operation. yet the system delivers the same amount of fuel as the lowest setting. the fuel system, much like any other machine, is a constant. feed rate and pipe i.d. do not change magically. to throw in more fuel than the cyclinder can take would be destructive. variances can occur during hard starting situations (cold climates). this is the same as the choke on a car. diesels do not have this as they employ whats known as glow plugs which are essentially little plugs inside the cyclinders that preheat the chambers making it easier to start. since locomotives do not use this technique, this is why you will see them idling when not being used in a cold environment. in essence, its a royal b***h to start one when cold. never the less, to accurately know the fuel consumption rate (gph) at start up, you will have to contact the manufacturer to see if these figures are available. highly unlikely they would have these figures as opposed to actual operational gph which is where the do their testing.

This project consists of land and air activity so it is a electricity killer. We have tried a very heave battery and charger_ failed. Gasoline isn't an option in this case. Furthermore, how can human kind trade-off the cost of developing clean energy against the known certainty of pure negative environmental effects of nuclear plants ? There should not be a consideration of developing further nuclear power plants at all, in the face of certainty of the negative effects to the environment. Green and clean energy should be pursued as the future energy solution for the future.

Q:about diesel generator: the air cooled one is a duitz air diesel . they are very reliable about the only maintenance it will ever need is filters and the cooling fins cleaned from time to time. it is lighter than a water cooled version and freezing will not hurt it.
