- Q: My living and dining room are one room. (not a huge room) I bought an area rung which I would consider classic. It has about 9 rows of different color rectangles ( beiges, golds,browns, and burgundies) with a beige border for under my dining room table. I saw another rug with basically the same colors but with more burgundy. It has bigger rectangles that are all different sizes. Some are big stripes and not in any particular order. It is hard to describe. Can I put them together? One in the living room and one under the table? From the end of one to the beginning of other there would only be about 18 inches? Thanks
- It's hard to say without pics but as long as there are a few similar colors between the two then I'd say they'd work great - after all we are talking about two seperate areas in one big space so I wouldn't say they'd have to match exactly.

- I would suggest either hard wood or laminate. Carpet traps all sort of allergens (especially since you have both cats and dogs) that could be harmful to you, your husband's and children's health. Once these allergens are trapped, they are trapped for good...they go down into the padding and it will not come out with a vacuum or shampooer. Also, if the animals accidentally mess on the floor or you spill something, think of how much easier it will be to clean it up! So, I would for sure go with the hard wood or laminate. Plus it's so much prettier, too!

- Q: that moves constantly. I'm forever pulling and tugging on it to keep it flat and straight. The rug is located in my living room with a coffee table on it. What can I do, if anything, to prevent this thing from moving around on mesignedtired of tugging. :-)
- You need an area rug no slip pad. You can pick it up at a home improvement store. Another suggestion would be to staple it to the floor. But only if its not concrete or hardwood or tile.
- Q: I am putting in 2 subs in my car with a plate so the subs look like the back of the trunk. Problem is that my carpet has quickly deteorated due to my previous box and I want to replace it. I am going to cut out a plywood sheet to fix the bottom of the car then install the carpet on that. The plywood is going to have a hinge to swing it up so I can get to the spare tired + add extra support. I need to do this by saturday before the subs are installed. What thickness plywood should I use (Thinner is better for me and I am going to drill holes in it for weight reduction) and how do I install the auto carpet so it's smooth and looks nice.Thanks!!!
- Trunk carpet and most other carpets are preformed to fit, you can get one from a auto upholstry shop or the dealership, they are held in by push pins to install them, any mods you do to the trunk you have to mod the carpet to compensate, as for the ply wood, you might wanna go with 1/4 inch thick.. not being there it is kind of hard to imagine what your doing, but anytime your modding a trunk, there is alot of problems you can come across.. most modders when doing up a trunk say hell with the carpet and make a custom fiber glass mold (very professional job), so, all in all, write these plans out before you do them and also make some measurements, gotta remember you have only one shot at this so make it a good one.... best of luck to ya.
