- Lay out a template of each rug size for the chair and ottoman area. You should be able to see more clearly which size would be best. Also the rug in that area does not have to be large enough for the pieces to set totally on. It merely has to define the area and add interest.

- I don't know much, but I would install some sort of padding under the carpet - the floor people should do it with the installation of the carpet (if you purchase it from them). The company you purchase the carpet from should also know this. Good luck! PS - get a thickness of padding that goes with your carpet - plush carpet may need less padding. One thing things to consider - Is there enough height under my door to fit carpet and padding? (Or will I have to cut the door down?) Also, if you don't have a thin and hard carpet, then you will have to get a plastic-floor thing to roll your chair on (if you have a rolling char).

- U can't restore color... but u have options. First u need to pull up as much of the bleach as u can. Bleach will eat up carpet not just remove color. Use a spot shampoo remover. Make sure spot is dry. Then go to the side corner of your closet, that u can't see and cut out a patch that is bigger than the one u want to remove. Cut out the organge spot. and glue back in the new carpet. U can secure with carpet nails. If ur unsure, go to carpet installer, they r usually great about teaching u how to fix most effective method. If u can put another rug over the spot then I do that. I wouldn't bother gluing in patch unless I was moving and u don't want to replace carpeting or be assess damages by landlord.

- Be careful and this might just get most of it up: Take several paper towels and put them over the wax. Now rub a very warm but not supper hot clothing iron over the paper towels. This will warm the wax while it is being absorbed into the towel. Repeat with clean paper towels until you are satisfied that you have removed all you can.
