- Q: QDX is a submersible pump. What does "X" mean?
- QDX is a submersible pump model, its specific meaning is:1.Q: submersible pump.2.D: single-phase power supply, three-phase electricity is not marked.3.X: pump, pump type is not marked.Complete submersible pump model will generally add rated flow, rated lift and motor power rating. For example: QDX40-8-1.5, meaning with single-phase 1.5KW motor, rated flow of 40 cubic meters / time, the rated lift of 8 meters under the pump submersible pump.According to the different relative position of pump and motor, submersible pump is divided into pump type and pump type. The pump submersible pump motor in the above, below, this structure greatly reduces the radial size of the pump, so much for submersible pump and small submersible pump operation. Submersible pump submersible pump on top of the pump in the following, it is divided into two types of internal and external type. The submersible pump carries the liquid through the annular flow passage around the motor, then cools the motor and then flows out of the pump outlet. Even though the pump is near the drain sump, there is no need to worry about the temperature rise of the motor, so the application is becoming wider and wider. External pump submersible pump directly from the pressurized water chamber after the impeller or diffuser outlet of discharged liquid, motor is cooled by liquid pumping. As the lower pump structure can work in a relatively shallow liquid, it is often used in submersible pumps for operating surfaces, especially the main structure of large caliber submersible pumps.
- Q: I have a 2005 Impala and it has been acting funny. Some morning the heat takes about 20 minutes to start working. The air conditoner has not came on once. The gage also takes awhile to start working and when it does it goes pass the halfway mark.I even notice when im sitting at a red light, i can feel the engine shaking a little. I have a appt to get it check and put on the machine tomorrow. I just want to go there with an idea of what the problem could be. Could this be a thermostat or water pump problem???? Help?
- Do you see any leaks the Front of the Engine or Radiator Area? is the Coolant Mixture Correct? Low Cost, Replace the Thermostat. From the Shaking you could also be in need of a Good Tune-Up? Also after all that shaking you might want to check the motor Mounts to make sure they haven't Cracked.
- Q: If the water pump does not get water to pump, will it be burnt out? If so, then can it be fixed? And if it doesnt get water to pump, what exactly happens to it?
- Jennifer said it so rated her, it's called air spin and she told you the rest
- Q: I Have a 1982 Suzuki DT8 Outboard motor, i rebuilt the water pup, new impeller, wear plate, all that. This is the first time iv run it in a barrel, it wont pump water now. But here is the thing, when i take the inspection cover off(the little round cover that lets you acces the shift linkage), and i run the motor, it will pump water. i noticed that wile i have that cover off all the exhaust comes out that hole and not out the bottom, is the exhaust getting sucked in the pump and stopping it from circulating water?
- Sorry, I thought I was answering this question before......is there 2 questions. Ok, the water is exhausted out the fin just above and behind the prop. The exhaust and water are both in the leg area where the shift rod is, so when you take the access plate off, you'll get some water and exhaust. You can't see the water coming out the exhaust port with the motor in a barrel. It's below the water line. And no the exhaust isn't being sucked back in the water pump, at least not enough to matter. There is a flush attachment that will feed water from a hose into the water pump. With the engine on a rack, or the boat out of the water, you can see where the exhaust and water come out. Running in a barrel isn't the best way to see anything. If you take the prop off it's easy to over rev. the motor. My advise is to put the motor on the boat in the water and start it. Check the engine block every couple min. for overheating. A little water dribbled on the head will sizzle, if it's getting to hot...if so shut it down, and recheck the water pump job. There is a tube that sticks in to the water pump housing. make sure it's in position.
- Q: My timing belt is worn but has not broken yet. The mechanic first told me it would be about $200-250 to replace the belt. Then he called back and said it was going to be $550 because on an Aveo you have to replace the water pump at the same time. I asked if it was possible to do just the belt and he said quot;well the water pump will probably break when we take it outquot;. Is this a sign that I should just break down and go to a dealership so that my water pump won't quot;breakupon removal?
- It is recommended to do the water pump while everything is taken down to do the belt, but it is not necessary. It should not break if the mechanic knows what they are doing. The water pump does NOT have to be removed to change the belt.
- Q: for the water pump in MY car that he has been using for his job!! He has threatned that the water pump cost $400 - 500 dollars but I didn't hear abut that when it was done!!! We are breaking up and it is My car but he says that he is taking te water pump out! Can he do that??? We also ave a daughte but I will ask about that later!! TRUST ME!!! I need to know about Custody Battles in Anoka or Hennipin County, Monnesota, 55433!!!! Please Help!!!!!!!!
- I don't know so much about legal issues, but 4-500 dollars for a water pump sounds about right. The pump costs about 80 but you have to take out the engine to get it. Usually when they replace the water pump they'll replace the timing belt, too, which again adds to the cost. If he takes the pump out, it means the engine will be out, too. Engines are really heavy, so I doubt that he could do it on his own. If he has a mechanic do it, the car will be stuck at the mechanic's until you get a replacement part, and he still has to pay $300 in labor just to get the thing out of there. It is pretty much, then, an idle threat. He could however, do quite a lot of damage to your car with a hammer. However, that would be vandalism and he would go to jail for it. If he has already paid for the repair, he can't really sue you. He can, but the judge should look at it as a gift, which he can't get back.
- Q: I am looking for foot peddals and one of those pumps that you can use to pump excess water out of the cockpit..... any Ideas where to look for the cheapest of both...I checked Dunhams and *****.
- Hi, okorder /
- Q: Hi -- could someone please give me information on how much I should expect to pay for a water pump and to cleanse my coolant system (or something like that) or if it's something I really need to do. Or if I can get the water pump without the coolant system...My car is running fine, just started making kind of a rough running sound a few weeks ago when it's idling. ANY advice is greatly appreciated!
- Right..the water pump doesn't sound like your problem. However, it would not hurt to get the cooling system totally flushed out and replaced with new fluid, if this has not been done in a long time. Might run you about...$75, just a guess. You also should really consider replacing the fuel filter, air filter, and spark plugs. This could really make a difference for you if they are old. Wouldn't cost you but $30 for all of those parts and maybe 45 minutes labor.
- Q: I would like to know some details about water pumping (ie. coca cola pumping water out of india) i just wanted to know some sort of prosedure like do they dig a hole and pump or what? I can't find any useful other information when i search it all that it says is that they quot;pumped waterbut nothing more. Thank you =)
- Usually they look for an underwater spring or reservoir, then they drill or dig into it. From there, they either instal a pump or use it as a well. As for how it works, refer to water pressure.
- Q: Every time i turn off the engine i hear like liquid noises behind the dash board in the drivers side. My fan isnt working properly but i just took a trip...4 hours away.. on the highway the temperature would be fine but on regular streets my temperature goes high pretty fast..i have been putting anti freeze pretty often lately because it goes low but there is no signs of a leak anywhere. Could it just be that my fan isnt working properly or is it because the water pump is going bad? or both? I have a 93 Toyota celica
- 17 Years...... Blown Head Gasket, Fans need to be Repaired {A/C Fan on at all times with A/C on, Radiator Fan Cycling as Engine Heats Cools}, Thermostat Removed, Cooling System Boiled/Flushed Out, New Thermostat Installed After Cooling System Cleaning, At 17 Years New Radiator Hoses Clamps, New Radiator Cap, New Temp. Sensor, New Coolant (50%-50% Anti-Freeze Clean Water Used All Year Round). Hopefully that should fix it. Almost forgot; With a Blown Head Gasket there will be Water in the Oil, you should Flush the Engine and change the Oil Filter.
