Q: my nissan 1993 maxima SEthe AC is not cold at all this year it ran perfect the year beforecan the water pump pressure really affect the AC?how much should a new water pump cost for my car?
It sounds like you have a leak in the AC system and are low on freon. The low pressure switch is cutting off the compressor to keep the system from freeaing up and damaging the whole system. The water pump has no connection at all with the AC system. Call a Nissan dealer and ask for an estimate on the water pump job. Also call some places like autozone and see what a new water pump would cost there. good luck.
Q: How much is the flow rate of fire hydrant and spray shared water pump?
Fire fire water is superimposed, at the minimum, the lowest 5L/S automatic spraying fire hydrant, light danger level 13.9L/S, the least is 18.9L/S, but the data is useless, the data are not spraying fire hydrant, concrete analysis of high-rise buildings like the dangerous level according to the calculation, the general design, the concrete building needs the high-rise building minimum 20L/S, automatic spraying dangerous level according to the general 30L/S, 50L/S need to flow
Q: what is the actual capacity of 15 stage 1 H.P. Borewell submersible pump. I mean can it draw water if it at 300 ft depth. Is 15 stage 1 H.P pump capable to draw water
1hp Submersible Pump
Q: can a water pump pumping out air instead of water?
# Water pumps are generally centrifugal pumps except few specific applications. #Centrifugal pump will not pump, untill and unless the the pump is properly primed [atleast ,casing upto impeller top should be fully submerged with water.] #Since the weight of water is approximately 8000 times that of air (50 miles vs. 34 feet or 80 Km. vs. 10 meters) the centrifugal pump can produce only 1/8000 of its rated liquid pressure. In other words, for every one foot water has to be raised to prime the pump, the centrifugal pump must produce a discharge head of approximately 8000 feet (each meter requires a head of 8000 meters) and that is impossible with conventional impeller diameters and speeds. *All of this means that if you intend to use a centrifugal pump you're going to have to come up with some sensible method of priming it. Your choices will include : *Install a foot valve in the suction piping to insure the liquid will not drain from the pump casing and suction piping when the pump stops. Keep in mind that these valves have a nasty habit of leaking. *Evacuate the air in the system with a positive displacement priming pump operating between the pump and a closed discharge valve. *Fill the pump with liquid prior to starting it. *Convert the application to a self priming pump that maintains a reservoir of liquid at its suction. # Also it is advisable to prime the positive displacement pump to run the pump smoothly, as if for some time it is pumping air, there will not be force balance which can cause damage to the pump spares.
Q: Cant get the bolt loose fromthe fan that is attached to the water pump in my ford ranger. need to remove bolt in order to remove water pump.
You need a special tool that grasps and holds the water pump pulley by the four bolts that secure the pulley to the pump, while you loosen the fan by using the correct size of wrench to turn it CLOCKWISE to remove. The hex of the fan clutch is LEFT-HAND threaded on this particular vehicle application. You may need to heat the hex of the nut slightly with an oxy/acetylene torch if too much force is required to crack the hex loose. Once loosened, simply spin it off with your hand by the blade until it is removed. Hope this helps.
Q: and how do I get it to work 24 hours a day?and on the pump there is written: 2 A, and on another part: 220-240 Vdoes that mean its wattage is 440-480Watt?
Hey Don ..did you mean consecutive hours..if so. Here is how to do it..If there is fluid to be pumped there is sometimes a controller that will ask the pump to stop when it reaches low level . And again ON when it senses high level. Find this device, if one exists and either defeat it mechanically or wire around it electrically.Either is pretty simple. NOW that i have told you how to get it to run all the time. I though I might mention a timer..A timer, in series with your pump, will cut it off and give the liquid level a chance to rise as well. Timers can be defeated the same as all other protective devices,, My question is Are you sure this is what you want to do ? The plug on the end of the cord ,it must be a small pump if only 2 amps, should be your only control .If it has an auto off feature it's there to save your pump from burning the barn down ,so to speak, Why not take another look at your application. if you do have an endless fluid supply ,like a closed loop trickling fountain, remember those evaporate if make up water is not added. Sometimes though you need a pump to run 24-7 in which case just fool the controller..Of course the human is the true controller... :) Well I have armed you with enough info to get by on this please do so safely. From the E...

Q: What does water pump mean?
A device that applies power to a liquid and transfers it to where it is needed.
Q: Whats the difference between a faulty water pump and head gasket? The coolant reservoir has a quot;bubblingeffect when the car is running. I just changed the radiator and filled it. Most of whats in the radiator is water honestly. The car sounds a little rough and sputtery like a head gasket. The spark plugs are dry and I took the cover off and nothing looked watery or moisturous. I also had to change the head and head gasket a month ago. The head gasket didn't have any damage to it so I assumed the head was bad. I used a new head gasket also. Anything else I can check? The car is a 91 corolla.
If you had a faulty water pump, your car would overheat. Check to see what's blowing out of your exhaust pipe. If you have any smoke coming out of there WHILE you're driving, you have a faulty head gasket or it was installed improperly. Are you losing coolant? If so you might want to by a kit that can determine if you have a head gasket leaking or a cracked block or head. You also could have air in the system and need to bleed the cooling system.
Q: is there a water pump capable to pump up to 1/4 of an inchsand from 90' deep well?
If the sand is suspended in the water then yes there are pumps that will pump it. Other wise no.
