Q: i need to find a website or store (in missouri) selling area rugs under $50 and about 13ft x 13ft in size.
To be very honest with you, the only rug of that size you will find for under $50 will have to be second hand and likely not in great condition. I have never in my life heard of finding that size rug at that type of price. Good luck. If you do find one, please let me know where -- I would order from that supplier even if they are overseas and shipping doubles the cost!
Q: How to remove carpet mites
If it is manual, you can ask professional manufacturers to wash, don't go to the laundry shop.
Q: What color is good for the bedroom carpet?
As for the dark bedding, put some outdoor leaves or pick up a stone, then light the candle up, use floorlamp or bedside lamp, weaven carpet is great: Colorful candle is an indispensable decoration in bedroom the color of the bedroom doesn't need to be too strong. You can avoid monotony. enough light, when you get out of bed, you won't feel cold, it is key point in bedroom convertion, mitght as well find an unused tray. If your sheets are bright colors, you can make use of combination by two sheets of collocation; if you love dark tonality, you can match with colorful rag carpet. Bed blanket which plays the role of keeping warm is suitable for matching with fur bed carpet that is full of warmth, and not only can it be used to create the feeling of the season. If you love bright colors, you can use beige. Another focus is the bedside carpet. DIY, in addition to making the bedroom look warm. Ceiling lamp should be used as few as possible in bedroom. It had better use gentle light beddings, creating a sense of layer
Q: I am redoing a room. Should it be painted before new carpeting? I want the baseboards nicely painted. Just not sure what should be done first.
There is not a wrong or right answer to this question. I always recommend to paint first, that way you don't have to worry about getting paint on your new carpet. Be sure to pull the old carpet away from your baseboards, just to make sure you don't get aline that will show if the new carpet that goes in is shorter. If you really are replacing the carpet it is easy to take a utility knife and just cut about an inch into the existing carpet and pull that part away from the wall. If you are having to live with the carpet for while, then just take an edger and pull the carpet back as you paint. If boards get scuffed when new carpet goes in, it is easy to touch up the scuffed areas. You might want to paint as much as 30 days in advance to give the paint a chance to cure out, less chance of scuffing as paint will be harder, not soft.
Q: two days ago we rented one of those rug doctors and shampood the carpet. we went over it a few times so the carpet did get wet. Now im smelling like a mildew/ gross dog smell (i dont have dogs) the AC has been on the whole time and the windows are opened...how do i get rid of this horrible smell!?
either ask the people where you rented the machine about it , Or call a carpet cleaning company and ask for advice, or do some research ion the internet
Q: I cannot for the life of me find the rugs in sims 2. I've seen some other answers here that say things like quot;decorations, rugs, put it on the floor.quot; well obviously if I am having to ask, I'm not able to follow those instructions as easily as you. Call me retarded or what you want, but all I see under decorations is plants, sculptures, wall hangings, mirrors, and curtains. So if someone could give me a real answer instead of some sarcastic bs, that would be great. Thx.
I just opened my game to see where the rugs were and they are here: Buy Mode Decorative Under Decorative as you already said there are the sub-categories plants, sculptures, wall hangings, mirrors, curtains, then rugs, then an icon that has 3 little buttons that is the sub-category miscellaneous, then next to that an icon that looks like a figure 8 on its side that represents the sub-category 'All'. Can you see MISCELLANEOUS and ALL? It is possible that the sub-category 'rugs' only appeared after I installed a certain expansion pack. I'm not sure as it's nearly 5 years since I just had the original game on its own. But if that is the case, and 'rugs' only got its own icon sub-category after EA released certain expansion packs, then I would guess that if you have the base game with no expansions rugs would either show up under DecorativeMiscellaneous or DecorativeAll. There are only 2 or 3 rugs that I can say for certain came with the base game- this is maybe why they didn't originally have their own sub-category, would hardly have been worth it for only a couple of items. And custom rugs will nearly always show up under DecorativeMiscellaneous. This is because they are hardly ever cloned from Maxis rugs, which are very boring.
Q: I just want a reasonably cheap, peach or mid-cream shaggy rug, but nowhere seems to do one! Peachy pink would be best, perhaps round? Help!
You should try Bed Bath and Beyond or Pier 1 Imports. Any sort of specialty bath store will probably have that.
Q: How can I convince my parents to get carpet installed in my room? Our whole house is wood flooring. But the floor gets too cold for me. they dont want it because our dogs sometimes, quot;don't go outsidequot; and it ruins the carpet. But lately they haven't done it in my room. They also dont want it because it costs hundreds. Any ways I can earn money for it? Thanks!
You should wear slippers. :p
Q: I want to use baking soda to freshen my rugs before I vacuum. I won't use commercial odor eliminators (the strong scent gives me a headache). Has anyone used baking soda and experienced a change in color or any damage to your carpets?
Shake the baking soda on your carpet and let it sit for fifteen minutes then vacuum it up. I used it a few times and never had any damage to my carpet. You can use it on a small area of your carpet to test it before you use it on your entire carpet
Q: does anyone know how to get pop out of carpet I have tryed everyting and nothing seems to be working it is a lite colored carpet so you can see the brown stain the carpet is about 2 years old I have tryed the wax and iron and I have tryed the carpet cleaning stuff and nothing will take it out please help me
oxy clean might work. I use this stuff called awsome it gets out EVERYTHING including blood. You can find it at the dollar store its cheap but it works wonders.
