- Q: Tips for cleaning wool carpet
- Carpet cleaning although not what is common, but more trouble, because many owners have problems and give up the use of carpet cleaning. - There is one product called Rug Hold and many others like it.. ( I sold Rug Hold in my store) You get them in many sizes to fit your needs and can be cut to fit under your rug and is great at keeping rugs in place and from slipping. Their washable to regain their tacky grip , but leave no tackiness on flooring.. Just get the type you need, some are for hard surfaces and some for wood some for carpet. Great product .. GL PS Can be usually gotten at most flooring store or the big box stores
- Q: so we put the dog in a room, and you know dog scratch at the floor, well my dog scratched so much he pulled off the carpet. the carpet is still together, the padding mostly is too. Is there a solution to this?
- If it isn't torn, it might be able to be restretched and reattached to the edging....lift up the perimeter of the carpet and you should see a lath strip with tacks that hold the carpet. You can probably find instructions on the web and rent the equipment......simple device. The padding might be able to be taped back together. Zip over to pet section here on Yahoo and learn how to care for the pup. You may need to crate train the dog so it won't destroy the house when you are away. And when you are home, the dog is with you.....period. He's a member of the family.

- Don't let my wife know I told you this. For many years I used Commercial carpet in my snake cages. I had several pieces cut to fit. WHen one got soiled I would just remove it and put in another one. When I got a stack of dirty ones I would wait until she wasn't home and throw them in the washer/dryer. They clean up like new and last for years. Been married 37 years and she has no clue!
