- If you want to solve your problem for good You should hire rug cleaner to solve your problem. This can be very challenging and time consuming process. You can pay $2 or $3 a sf. You have to wash with shampoo and water and must dry properly otherwise you will have mold problem.
- Q: I have a white fluffy rug, I assume its meant to represent sheepskin. I have no idea how to clean it! Know what Im talking about? Does anyone have any ideas?
- stick it in a duvet cover tie a knot in the cover so the rug wont fall out. put it on a cool wool wash. when you take it out of the washer fluff up the fur with ur hand and a hairdryer gently then drape over a radiator to dry fluffy side facing up ! (when it comes out the washer it will look a raggy mess so you have got to fluff it up with the hairdryer.
- Q: We received a carpet bid for a room that is $2641.00. The next number is 52.44 installed and carpet only 39.44. I'm assuming this is yards? Does that sound like an average price for a slightly above average carpet?For about 200 square feet, is $7/sq. ft an average cost for tile and $1700 total including materials? Then still I have to pay labor separate. It is a unique tile in a unique shape, not square but rectangular.
- The carpet , I need more info on since most of those numbers don t make sense with out knowing the s/f of the room to be carpeted. The 39.44 and the 52.44 sound like a square yard price and to give you a price like that is against the law. All carpet must be given in a s/f price format.. I used to have carpet that installed at 52.44 a s/y but it was excellent carpeting.. So I don t know about the carpet until I get more info, but its sounding high.. The tile could be 7$ a s/f if its unique like you say.. The installed price with the materials is a bit high but not totally out of line at all. Your installation area could explain that.. - Q: So somebody spilt hydrogen peroxide on the carpet and now it's bleached! The original color was kinda a beige color and I need to know is there any possible way at all to get rid of this or kinda dirty it up to look beige... Please help!
- You can buy carpet dye but I am not sure if you could dye just a small area and it match and look good. I'm not sure either if you could use Rit dye. It's possible you might be able to find a product like fabric color pens that you could use to sort of fill in the bleached area. A carpet person could possibly cut out the bleached part and replace it with a section from a closet if your closets have the same carpet. It would depend on the type of carpet, its condition and age, etc.
