Q: After cleaning carpet, have very big stink, have a few months, it is formaldehyde flavour?
As carpets are laid on the floor for a long time, they are not cleaned in many places, resulting in the formation of various bacteria, viruses and viruses. Some carpets are long and are often difficult to clean completely, but only to clean the front. This causes negative bacteria to develop.
Q: I have tried rug cleaning sprays and powders and vacummed it many times. I don't know what else to do and don't want to replace my rug!
Saturate the area with a spray called ODOBAN. Wal-Mart under the Febreeze only it actually works and it is cheaper. I use it in my boys' bathroom as they are smelly little buggers.
Q: I am Brazilian.Tell me where you are from, please. Please, do NOT use electronic translators, such as Google translator. How to say in German? You don't need to translate the explanation, but I need you to put the DEFINIT ARTICLE and the PLURAL FORM, please.1. Rug (on the floor)2. Carpet3. Curtain4. Classroom5. Pen (= ballpoint pen)6. highlighter pen (= special pen in bright colors)7. Mechanical Pencil (= propelling pencil) (a pencil with a lead inside that can be moved down by pushing the top of the pencil.8. Ruler9. Eraser (for white board, green board, black board)10. Eraser (used for removing pencil markers on papers) 11. Marker (= marker pen, used to write on white boards)
1. Rug (on the floor) = der Vorleger 2. Carpet = der Teppich 3. Curtain = der Vorhang 4. Classroom = das Klassenzimmer 5. Pen (= ballpoint pen) = der Kugelschreiber (short: der Kuli) 6. highlighter pen (= special pen in bright colors) = der Marker 7. Mechanical Pencil (= propelling pencil) (a pencil with a lead inside that can be moved down by pushing the top of the pencil. = der Druckbleistift 8. Ruler = das Lineal 9. Eraser (for white board, green board, black board) = der Schwamm (green and black board) 10. Eraser (used for removing pencil markers on papers) = der Radiergummi 11. Marker (= marker pen, used to write on white boards) = we use to say der Edding. I really don't know why we don't have a proper word for it. You could say Filzstift but it's not really the same, it's smaller and in English felt pen would be the correct word. What we call der Marker is a highlighter pen.
Q: How to distinguish between good and bad carpet?
Color fastness: carpet, carpet can be hand in hand to rub several times, to see whether sticky color, such as a sticky color, the product of poor color fastness, color and fade easily carpet in use.
Q: My lil' sister had a sleep over in our living room the other night and her and her friends got chewing gum walked into the carpet in about 5 places.. It's an old carpet but that's not the point really, its dried solid hows best to remove it?
Try gasoline
Q: they are 4months old, a boy girl, fixed.they keep scratching and pulling up the edges so that its coming up in strings/scrunched threads. I've tried blocking the area with objects, and a scratching post, b4 but they just go behind it somehow or go find somewhere else to pull up the rug. i've tried to remove them from the area when they do and say things like no off..but of course being cats they dont listen to me :(how can i make them stop????????????? any help would be amazing! thanks in advance!!
I had the same problem with a 2 month old kitten and a 12 year old cat. First, every time I see them scratching the rug, I carried them over to the scratch post and gently lift up their paws and place them over it. To further encourage this, I have 2 cat treehouses - so when I'm playing with them I also deliberately scratch the posts of the treehouses, and the cats would come running (because of the noise) and incidentally scratch the posts trying to reach for my hands. I also hold up their toy mice over the posts so they keep scratching over the posts. I kept doing that and although they did still scratch the rug, they didn't do it as often. I did eventually remove the rug and they only scratch the posts now, they don't even scratch my furniture anymore. I don't know, maybe I just got lucky. I just feel so much pride now when I see them scratching the posts.
Q: What size is needed of the carpet if sofa is 2.3 meters, tea table is 1.4 meters * 0.8 meters
The sofa needs type L, 3+2 or 3+1 single side166X240CM to 1+2+3 with unilateral placed around the whole, 200x300CM size refers to the woven carpet, hand carpets 183X274CM are suitable as candidates sofa. Blanket should be selected by the buyer to see whether it coordinates with the overall decoration.
Q: What color of the carpet looks good with white tile, red sofa and black tea table?
According to what you say. The walls and the ground are slight color system, creamy white is main color, so it is a little standing out here. there is a certain color contrast and relatively strong comparability, and it is right. you should highlight it because its propotion and area are bigger. the problem now is your lucency table through which you can seen the beige, that makes it look cheap. besides, the lucency table and grey sofa don't look like a whole. so the two functions of your carpet are: make the room look like a whole and show the high grade of your tea table. 1 is to make the sofa
Q: I just replaced my old area rug. The old one was great , I could steam clean it , take it outside and rinse it off and let it air dry. No problems for 4 years, it just got worn out. I replaced it with the same rug from the same store, but the carpet came loose from the backing were I had spot cleaned it. When I vacuumed it pulled out 6 foot of string. I took it back and they replaced it. This new rug, seems a little better, but the backing seems cheap. Is there a way I can re-enforce the backing so the carpet does not come loose from it when I clean it? Would applying carpet seaming adhesive to the entire rug work?
no that wont work. things are being made cheaper these days, you get what you pay for. Sorry!
Q: Ok so i want to get new carpet in my basement and on the Home Depot website it says that youcan get any size carpet for only $139, but idk if this includes taking the old carpet out. If not, then how would i do that, and/or how much will it cost???
The ad is to install the carpet, not purchase. You'd have to ask Home Depot if the install also includes removal and haul away. It may not for a special deal. Removal can be fairly easy if the carpet was not glued to the floor. The easy way is to peel back a corner. Tack strips are thin slat with grippers nailed to the floor that have spikes on the top to grip the carpet. Once you get it off once section, the carpet is easily taken up. However, get a carpet knife and cut them into sections for easier handling. Often the carpet is NOT under the baseboard, but right at the bottom. Letting a putty knife or screw driver under there will probably loosen it. Remove the carpet and the pad.......pads are cheap and you want a fresh clean start. If the carpet is glued down.......well, you'll need a heavy duty flat scraper and start scraping. You'll also need a carpet glue solvent and plenty of open windows...at least. You may need breathing protection, getting the birds out of the house, etc.
