- Q:Does anyone know if disposable kitchen rugs are made and sold anywhere? I would like to have a bunch of fairly good quality rugs in the closet and change then out whenever needed. Just pick u[p the dirty one and throw it away. Any ideas?
- I have never heard of disposable kitchen rugs. Perhaps just buy s really cheap rug and then you can always throw it away when you are done. Some cheap area rugs are available at the following places:
- Q:Help! my floor is carpeted, and I had a flood, so now my whole carpet is wet and I don't think it's going to dry by itself.HOW DO I DRY IT?
- absorbent paper towels and a blow dryer
- Q:help on rug costs-- geometry?
- first be sure the component of the rugs. RUG1 is 29 by 40 seven ins, so it fairly is 1363in squared. RUG2 has ft and in, so shall we covert the ft to inches. We do 4*12 it fairly is 40 8, then we do 40 8+10=fifty 8. so the 1st fringe of that rug is fifty 8. the different ingredient we do 7*12=80 4 then 80 4+10 it fairly is ninety 4. The RUG2 is 58in by 94in. So fifty 8*ninety 4=5452. section OF RUG1=1363inches squared =$seventy 9 section OF RUG2=5452inches squared =$299 1363/5452 reduces to a million/4, so rug2 must be approximately 4 situations the quantity of funds as rug1. $seventy 9*4=316, so rug2 must be $316. So particular, the enormous rug is a sturdy purchase.
- Q:It's pretty funny because we are both artist but can't seem to agree on a rug. My living room is bubble gum pink, yes and extremely wild color. My sofa is a sage or dull fern green. My coffee table is dark walnut. What color rug would you place in this room? My FI was looking at a sage color rug with modern flowers on it my only problem is that it doesn't have any pink in it. We are aguring if the rug need pink in it to match. I found a dark sage rug with light pink accents but I am afraid it's tooo dark. What do you think I should aim for- a darker green then sofa or a lighter green?Any adivce would greatly help. And NO I will not change the color of my walls, I love my Barbie on Crack PINK color!!
- I would use a cream colored flokati rug for this room I would also find a way to introduce more of the sage in the room, but in a lighter sage than the couch. Keep the pink walls, they are probably very striking.
- Q:How big is the carpet of Yoga
- 1.8 meters
- Q:I just want to know if olefin rugs are good for a living room, i'm planning on buying a 6x8 rug for my living room I plan on just putting my coffee table on it and it wont be in a high traffic area are there any issues i need to worry about?
- olefin rugs are cheap. Plus, the degradation of fibers over time contribute to in home toxin levels higher than the air inside. They crush, they're cheap and they're just not the best. If you're going synthetic, go nylon. If you can, go wool - and not hand tufted
- Q:We have a fantastic purple sheepskin rug that is in need of a really good clean, (4 year old and kitten have seen to that) is it safe to machine wash it or do i have to get it dry cleaned?
- Because it is dyed purple dry-cleaning is the best cleaning technique to preserve the colour long term. You could wash the sheepskin with the correct sheepskin woolskin wash but some of the dye colour will run out in the rinse water. Salt is a natural dye fixative so I use salt in the final rinse water to reduce dye run. Don't use a normal woolwash, this is not suitable for the leather. A sheepskin carding brush is great to brush out knots before and after you wash a sheepskin rug to prevent matting.
- Q:The new carpet smells great. How do you clean it?
- After replacing the new carpet, first open the window to make sure the room is ventilated.Open a bottle of baking soda and spread a thin layer over the carpet. Then carefully sweep the baking soda into the carpet fiber with a broom.
- Q:my friend and I are going to be rooming together at UGA. we want to get a rug, but a big size (8x11) to cover most of the floor would be really expensive. would it be better to get a carpet instead?
- I would go w/ brown and black like the sofa.... but I don't know about the the dark blue carpenting w/ all that. The sofa won't really go w/ that. I know u can't control that but just thought I'd mention it
- Q:i've asked this question 3 times before, but it hasn't worked :(Red is booked in for a trace/blanket clip in a couple of days, and i was wondering if i would need to rug her up a little bit more? she is a thoroughbred chestnut (someone told me that chestnuts have thinner skin??) and is in a 100g fill w/ a neck rug atm....the coldest it has been lately would be about 10/11 degrees c....the next rug we have is a 250g fill with neck rug, so it's quite a step up...Um... yeah... would i need to start putting that on, or do you think she will be O.K??
- It's too late to clip now really unless your horse is in a LOT of work, as it will take off the top of her summer coat so she will lose her coat's water-shedding and wind-proof qualities. If she still has quite a lot of her winter coat, I would say it's time to give her a good groom over with a shedding blade and rubber curry and a bath on a dry day if you can. If you really are set on clipping her for whatever reason, stick to taking the least hair off possible and go for putting her fleece or cooler rug under the light one in the day and the warmer rug on at night. You would be surprised by how cold it is at 2am!
