Q: My venue I am using has banquet chairs that have arms on them. I have found universal chair covers that are bigger than normal that might fit over the chairs. I just need to measure them first before I order one to try out. Has anyone seen a chair cover over a chair with arms? How did it look? Thanks!: if you try to put a chair cover over the entire chair, arms and all, it is not going to look nice unless they are made for that because if the way the arms will cause the fabric to rise up on the sides. two solutions, you can either have the chair covers custom made or you can rent chairs from a rental company for about 2 dollars per chair and use regular covers. that would be the cheapest way to go. even chiavari chairs can be rented for around 5 to 7 dollars per chair and they do not even need covers they are so elegant. most people just put the bows on them.
