Q: I need to find some big comfy chairs. I will not be using those expensive pedicure chairs like the others. What we will be doing is setting up regular chairs and at the foot of the chair we will be putting really nice bowls. HELP!!!
IKEA, Target... I found one link im not sure if its what you are looking for but here it is,(i like the tulip chair) www.italianclassicsdirect .uk
Q: I heard of a trick that uses a chair, and supposedly girls can do it, but boys can't.Has anybody heard of it, and if they have, do you know any details?
Yes I have and it really is not a trick. It is one difference between the body of a man and woman. Basically take a chair put your back to a wall, keep both feet on the floor and not move them and you must keep your lower body pressed against the wall at the same time.. Then bend over grab the chair pull it to your chest. Then straiten, lifting the chair with your torso till you are standing strait again with out moving anything other then your arms and torso. A woman is the only one that can do this without falling over.
Q: She just moved and I had a dream lastnight she was in a wheel chair but she was using her legs like kicking me and stuff... For some reason the wheel chair was up high I could see her only when I looked up, sometimes a couple inches lower than eye level. What's it mean??
it means ur worried about her and feel you would blame yourself if something happened to her since ur no longer around her
Q: the laugh and learn potty chair..is it worth the $30.00? when you flush the toliet what happens? thanks
although my kids are older, i say what ever the cost is to help potty train your child be the first one in line to buy it! also, i find that no matter what kind of potty chair you buy kids will always play with it first as a toy. they will eventually understand what it is really used for, just have patience.
Q: i just got a chair and its at perfect height when its all the way down.. but when i get off the seat.. the chair shoots back up.. when i sit back down, it sinks all the way down.. please tell me a way the seat can just stay down without going back up when im not on it..?
I don't know what make and model your chair is, and thus what features it has, BUT... most of these chairs has a pneumatic cylinder in the support column, and for adjusting seat height, a LEVER beneath the seat, usually near the right front corner as you sit in the chair. To use this type of adjustment, you press the handle upward against the bottom of the seat, and THEN sit on it, forcing the seat down. When the seat is down, or at the desired elevation, release the handle, and the seat should stay there. If you want the seat at a higher level, remove ALL load from the seat, press the release handle, and a spring should lift the seat. Then when you have the desired height, release the handle and the seat should stay at that level. IF the seat is raising all by itself when you're not sitting on it, I suspect that the adjusting VALVE is not seating properly, and allows air back into the cylinder, and the spring raises the seat [sort of like magic!!!!]. Turn the chair over and check the valve [if it's not concealed] and look for lint or debris which is keeping the valve from fully seating and sealing the vent hole. IF the chair is new, I recommend returning it to the place you bought it and REQUEST REPLACEMENT on the basis that the chair is DEFECTIVE. If it's not new, then it's a matter of either cleaning the valve, or if it's not blocked, then repairing it so it can seat [and seal] properly.
Q: I rented fifty chairs for my in home wedding because I invited fifty guests. I am concerned that some people will not come and this will make the room feel empty. Should I not set up all of the chairs until the thirty five or so already set up are filled or just set them all up to begin with?
I would set them all up. Not setting them up just gives you one more thing to be concerned about, if more than thirty five people show up. You, the groom, and your families should be focused on the ceremony at hand not setting up chairs if the complete guest list should appear.
Q: In the process of sending question's in,..... the gas level's in my office chair have dropped over the last few week's or so, and as a result will neither lift or lower..... Does anyone know how to refill the gas.....Thank's.....( replying to question's on a low chair is somewhat uncomfortable.)
:) You can go to an office supply shop and they'll sell chair gas cylinders. I've not had to ever do this but if you take them your chair and buy the gas from them they'll be able to refill it for you. They can also just give you the instructions on how to do it and you can give it a go if you don't feel like lugging your chair in there.
Q: When I was in the Air Force I never just sat in a chair.
Hello 'Scared of nothing You know, I served 27 years in the Air Force and I never once heard anybody refer to themselves as being in the Chair Force. I toss out such belittling statements into the trash can. Every Air Force member is proud of the job that he or she does and was trained to do. People don't stand up all day marching from sun up to sun down. People do sit down during parts of their jobs! Every person in the Air Force has a valuable part in helping the Air Force fulfill its mission. The Air Force does not train people into a job that is unnecessary. Just don't listen to people who throw those 'buzz words' at you. Most of the time they do not know what they are talking about. A person's own integrity would not permit themselves to be lying down on the job. Thanks for the time you spend in the Air Force. I hope that you were able to use your skills in the civilian world. Best of luck and good health to you. Larry Smith SMSgt, USAF, (Ret.) First Sergeant
Q: I am looking for a chair that is around $50-125. I need one that is comfortable just for playing computer games with. The bottom of my chair is a bit hard because the padding has expanded. If you know of a good chair, please help!! Thanks!!
If you don't want it to have any adjustment features. Such as tilting the back etc. Then look for a chair that in description simply has a swivel mechanism on it. That will keep the cost of the chair down. I would also get a chair that has memory foam. It will increase the life of the chair as far as comfort in the padding goes. Also if you get a chair from a local dealer you are more likely to get warranty replacement if you have any problems. Stores like Staples, office depot, walmart. Are not good at warranty replacements if you have any problems such as the cylinder going out on the chair. We sell chairs I can get you a chair for the price you are looking for but you would have to pay shipping if you are outside of IN, MI, KY, IL, OH, or WV. If you are in those states I can set you up with retailer who can get you a great chair for the price you are looking for. By the way you can go real cheap closer to your $50 or under $50 but it will break or get flat with in a year and you will be buying a new chair. Or hating that one sooner than later. I see it way to often. I would suggest getting something closer to your $125. even just under $100. There are good chairs for that price that will last you a long time and have a good warranty so if anything does break it would be replaced.
Q: I just don't know ant signals that chairs give when they like someone, and I'm going through a hard time because of it. Please help me figure this out. I think I'm in love with this chair.
Hi Goodadvor123, I think your best move, is to ask the chair if it has any feelings for you. For it could be a player, and it could be, that it doesn't mind anyone sitting on him, when I say this, it's because I'm not sure what sex the chair is. Anyway my answer is to a boy chair. And of course chairs have different methods of showing how they like someone. I guess it likes girls sitting on it, what chair wouldn't. But I don't think you should get jealous about this, it's a natural thing with chairs. So if you feel this way about the chair, I think it only best that you sit on it almost all the time. After all that's how you get to know a chair. It may look like a perfectly good chair, but it has seen other girls. And from the chairs position that's not a bad angle to see a girl. Generally they are quite faithful, if you can sit on it a good few times. I can see you're having a hard time with it, but just how soft do you want a chair. I think you should take a step back, and look at the situation, and the chair. Is it staring into your eyes, or does it give you a little hug when you sit down on it. Because these things are telling you something about the way the chair feels you. You really need to get the chairs feelings about you. For you are just wasting your time, if the chair doesn't have feelings for you. Anyway find out exactly how it feels, then you know where you stand when you're sitting on the chair. I wish you happiness, and the chairs.
