- I have the Fisher Price Precious Planet one, it's basically a different version of the rainforest one. I love it! The seat reclines far enough back that my daughter could sit in it to drink a bottle when I had things to do and couldn't hold her. The tray has a removable, dishwasher safe try thing that sits over top, which makes cleaning it very easy. The fabric is great, too, it's water repellant without being plasticky. The heights go from low enough that my daugher can eat cheerios off of it while she's wandering around the livingroom (she's a year old now) to high enough that it doesn't kill my back to feed her or put things on her tray, even standing. I love this highchair. This high chair was a bit more expensive than I wanted to pay, but after several attempts at feeding baby in the carseat on the kitchen table, it was worth it. I was also lucky enough to get the floor model, so I got 20% or something off! But I would pay full price, and am considering doing so since I'll have two little ones to feed when this one is born in September.

- Q: I was wondering how to make a simple slip cover for a regular metal folding chair.
- For the back of the chair, try a pillowcase on it and see how it fits. What tucks do you have to make? Then try it on the seat. What type cover did you want? A full cover so you don't see the legs? You did not say. I would cut up a sheet, in fact you could use sheets if you do not want to invest in upholstery type fabric. They are washable too. Try a piece on the seat, let it hang to the floor in front, and extend up over the back of the chair until it reaches the floor below. Then you could sew the two backs together till it comes to the seat, stop there. Then you need to sew a piece to each side down to the floor. Then sew up the corners. Hem the bottoms and put a bow or Velcro fastener to the back of the seat corner, or pin it and then sew it, but you have to leave a little room so you can slip it on and off.

- Don't throw out the chair. Take it to a furniture repair shop and see if it can be repaired. There is a good chance they can. And you might want to check the safety of the other three chairs too. As for finding a replacement, check on Craigslist, FreeCycle, and Ebay. If you have a Facebook page, post a good photo and ask if anyone has a set they would like to get rid of. See if there is a Facebook group like Knoxville TN Buy, Sell Trade and post there too. And please give some idea of the date it was purchased. We have no idea if you have known your wife for 5 years or 50.

- This isn't unusual. Let them come out on their own; don't drag them out from under the chair. Cats hate change and new kittens may find a new environment very frightening for a few days until they settle in. Have you tried playing with them with a dangly toy or offering them food from your fingers or tossing a crunchie to them? If you offer them a substitute for the safety of the chair that may help - maybe a kitty teepee or even a box with a towel in it where they can hide. They'll come out. They just need time.

- Q: can i sue the restaurant for having a defective high chair? A: Can is an ability and you do but will you will you win (be compensated) is a second question. Who selected the high chair? Was it presented to you or did you select it? Their lawyer could say you picked the defective chair (if you did) so it is no fault of their own although your lawyer could indicate that the chair should have been out of service.
