We did have a problem with her sitting in a normal seat because she wouldn't sit down and we finally got a bosster that is almost the same as a high chair. If you get a booster with a tray and put the highchair away for a while (out of sight- out of mind) maybe that will help. she will still feel confined in the booster with a tray and that may be what she needs for now.
