Q: can olifine pile rugs go outdoors?: I've used them on my patio, but have experienced some problems particularly if they are rubber backed. Moisture gets between the backing and the fiber to cause little black spots on the rug which are mildew. If it rains and the rug stays hortizontal for any length of time, it will mold as well. The good news is that both can be removed with DampRid Mold and Mildew Remover (the one for fabrics) and it protects the rug from it happening again with little moisture exposure (not drenching, pouring soaking rain). If I'd have known about this product, I would have sprayed it on first before putting it outside and just picked it up when we have a heavy rain to keep it from molding.

Does anyone have any cheap suggestions that they know actually work to keep it from slipping all over my living room?Thanks!: Rugs on smooth floors are a serious safety hazard, I would advise against using them at all. There's loads of people seriously injured every year due to them stepping on a rug only to have it slip from under them. If you must have them, I would suggest that you glue something rubber-based on the base of the mat. Possibly a silly idea, but what about some stick on replacement soles for shoes? They're rubber, and they even come with the glue!

Q: Okay I can't decide which carpet cleaner is better, the New Hoover Platnium Series, or the Rug Doctor (The Blue One) They both look nice. But Which Is BETTER. Name the Pros and cons of each Money is NOT A CON for me. and does the rug doctor leave the carpet vet I heard.: The rug doctor will leave allot of soap in your carpet, which will create mold. Personally I do not trust buying carpet cleaners scene as i own my own carpet cleaning company ha ha but I deff do not recommend the rug doctor to anyone, its not safe.
