I took it back and they replaced it. This new rug, seems a little better, but the backing seems cheap. Is there a way I can re-enforce the backing so the carpet does not come loose from it when I clean it? Would applying carpet seaming adhesive to the entire rug work?: In most cases it's not going to be cost effective to repair a hand tufted rug. However there are instances where if you have latex glue, you could be able to reinforce the back with a paint roller. Between the trips back and forth to the local hardware store and the supplies needed, it may be advisable to consider the purchase of a new rug. Best of luck!

I've been looking at the Norti Nedi range and have come to a hard decision. do i get a fixed neck where it cannot be removed or do i get a neck attatchement??? but also will this rub at my horse's mane as this is the first time considering a neck??: If you get a removeable neck it would be better because then you can remove it in warmer weather and put it back on when it gets colder.

Don't beat your head against the wall. Go to a carpet store and bring a piece of the carpet with you. You will never find an exact match, but you may be able to find something close enough. Every time a new carpet role is made it is a different color slightly. This is called the dye lot. True color is impossible to photograph, thus the futility of your on line search for a little piece of carpet. You may also take a piece from a closet or other normally unseen area to patch the carpet. Hot glue works very well for a carpet patch. Take care.
