Q:I have an ugly pink-tan carpet that has to go. Underneath the carpet is wood. But the wood is a bit rough and doesn't have any color to it. How do i remove my carpet and fix up the wood floor underneath?: take a knife to the corner and pull it up cut all around the edges and just pull. use some goo-be gone if you need to with the glue. then take one of those power tools that make the floor smooth. (idk what they are called lol) smooth out the floor and stain it :)
