Q: I lost my charger for it so I was wondering if there was a different charger that might work for it (like phone charger or something)? (
God no. There is no other charger in the world that can charge a laptop other than a charger for a laptop (and even then, it has to match the laptop's specifications). You should just purchase a new charger for the X50v. They aren't really expensive. I would suggest you visit Topmic for a new charger. Topmic is well known for their great services and their durable products. They include free shipping and free lifetime warranty. Yes, lifetime. This means if the charger ever stops working on its own for whatever reason, they would replace it as many times as needed at no additional cost, for life. This is a great way to save money in the long run and a good investment. You should be able to find them online through google search. Best of luck.
Q: i think the chargers have a great young team.and the ravens have an old defense and a battered qb.so they should win 28-14.anyone agree? disagree?
I think the Ravens at home. Phillip Rivers will not do well in a touch environment away from home.
Q: I just bought a new laptop today, Dell Inspiron. It is currently charging for the first time. I picked up the charger and it was super hot, like stove hot! I mean I was busy on it transfering my files from my old computer but that shouldn't have overheated it, if anything the laptop would be overheated. Has anyone else had this problem with a brand new charger?
A lot of Dell laptop chargers and batteries overheat. Tell them you want a new one - it should be under warranty.
Q: An iPod tech told me that sounddocks that charge iPods actually kill battery life because they are too strong and burn the battery, the same goes for iPod car chargers. What about iPod wall chargers? Do these affect battery life the way the sounddocks and car chargers do?
Personally I like the faster charge time of the wall charger and the car charger and dock is the same faster rate. Can it shorten your battery life? Yes it can, but here's the key and this is the critical thing! Heat kills the battery so when you are charging your iPod keep it cool! The faster charging can build up heat that really hurts the battery! If you have it in a case pull it out so it doesn't build up heat because that's what puts a lot of stress on the battery. At home I have a metal cabinet to sit the iPod down on top of when charging so that the cabinet absorbs the heat from the iPod and keeps it very cool. So go ahead and use the faster chargers, I do, just keep the iPod cool; lay it face down on a pad to let the back air cool and maybe have something metal to lay it face up on to draw the heat out of it if it gets real warm. There is one other point with iPod batteries. Don't run the battery down low a lot! That also stresses the battery a lot and shortens life! All lithium ion batteries like in laptops are this way too! It's better to keep it topped off, say run it only halfway down most of the time. I use mine almost every day and only run the battery all the way down once every 2 or 3 months just to keep the battery level indicator more accurate. I use my iPod a lot as in iPod junky and my average battery lifespan has been about 3 years before it really drops off and I have to change the battery.
Q: can i charge a 7.2V 1080mAH battery to 8.4V 0.9A charger?*Theory explanation pls.
I presume you mean, can i charge a 7.2V 1080mAH battery *with an* 8.4V 0.9A charger?. Yes, but you must be careful. mAH (milliampere-hours) is a unit of charge; in Coulombs, 1mAH 3.6C. An unregulated 8.4V, 900mA charger will generate WV*A 7.56 Watts. 7.56 Watts through a 7.2V drop will try to draw 1.05 Amps; if the charger has current limiting circuitry, this will work fine- the battery will absorb the required 3888C at 7.56W in 9 minutes or so (this is an ideal figure- internal resistance will increase actual charging time considerably). If the charger is not current limited, the charger and/or battery can easily (and quickly) overheat. This can destroy your charger, rupture your battery, and start a fire. If you're charging a Lithium Polymer battery, all bets are off- overcurrent turns LiPo batteries into bombs. Again, be careful if you try this.
Q: I have Dell Inspiron 1420. When i plug it in it reads plugged in, not charging. I read somewhere it is because the charger overheats or something. Is this the reason? Also my warranty is over but can i still get a new charger?
no, you cant get a new charger if the warranty is over well for free anyways you can always buy a new one lol sorry man. i had the same problem
Q: i just bought a mac laptop. It didn't come with a charger and i dont know what im looking for. if u could tell me or show me a link with the charger that would help. Q: I have an Inspiron 1525. The charger suddenly stopped working, the green light turned off. It's definitely not a power socket problem. After stressing out for 15 minutes, I knocked on the charger and plugged it in. After a few minutes I noticed that the battery icon said it was charging. After 10 minutes of charging, I picked up the charger to look at it again, stupidly. As soon as I picked it up it stopped working. What can I do? Can I use someone else's charger in the meantime? Does it have to be Dell? I'm an university student living away from home and the cityI need my laptop. PLEASE HELP!
it doesn't have to be a dell charger, it can be a generic one that you buy online, but it has to be a replacement for the charger you have currently. If you know someone with the same type of laptop that would do fine, if not then you might just have to do without until you get a replacement. Just check the amps and the watts on the charger before using it, because they very from object to object.
Q: i decide to go with either a 2008 dodge charger or 2008 mustang with one do you think is better
get the mustang unless the charger has a hemiputting 4 doors on the charger was a shame, then making it a stationwagon? its sad reallyid get the mustang cause theres lots more aftermarket parts for body kits or engine upgrades and they're readily available.
Q: I have a dell inspiron 1545 laptop and I put it on the charger last night and now it is still dead, the charger is pluged in and there are no kinks in it, what could be wrong with it
