Q: I have a compaq laptop and recently the battery was not any good. I have been plugging in the charger instead of using a battery. Lately the light on the side of my computer hasnt been lighting up for the charger. Is there something wrong with my charger? How can I fix it? It is an HP charger. How much does a new one cost?: Lately? if the computer is running what makes u think the charger is bad - since the battery is bad and won't run it by itself.????? if the computer stops because the battery is dead then u either have a break in the wire between charger and computer or have a broken connector on the computer. a cheap voltmeter will tell u if there is voltage at the connector from the charger - or sub out the charger. both are fixable - one costs a lot more than the other.

Q: I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop, and I've had it for almost a year. A week ago I was using it and I realized the part of the part of the metal part of the charger that goes inside of the laptop was really hot. There were even some black scorch marks on the metal. Q: I have a Sony Vaio laptop now and the laptop is charged. The laptop is at 10% battery and when i take off the charger the light on the power button flashes. Q: Hi. I have a Toshiba laptop since September 2007, not sure about the model - could be L40. Lately it won't charge properly. When I plug it in, the orange light doesn't come on right away and I have to wiggle it about and twist the wire. Tonight when I plugged it in, nothing happened at all. Will the charger work on it?: How about instead of meeting sketchy people on the internet, you find the charger for your laptop from a reputable vendor online such as Amazon (or the manufacturer itself)? Look for Accessories for your Toshiba Satellite C660 or whatever the name of your laptop is. I don't understand why people are so trusting. If the charger you buy doesn't work, you're out of money and time. It's not like you are saving hundreds or thousands of dollars, you are saving yourself probably $5.

Q: can i use my ds charger for my wii u gamepad? Like the ds charger can charge the 3ds: No, the chargers for Nintendo handhelds have different variations. The original DS charger is only compatible with the original DS (phat) and GameBoy Advance SP. The DS Lite charger is only compatible with the DS Lite. The DSi charger is compatible with the DSi, 3DS, 3DS XL and 2DS. The Wii U Gamepad charger is only compatible with its namesake. It can't be used to charge other devices due to it being slightly bigger than the 3DS family and DSi charger.
