Q: I just gone looking for my charger and realised my phone charger is still plugged into wall at work! I am not back in until wed and can ring tomorrow- but am really worried now it will overheat overnight.am i over worrying and is there a mechanism that will eventually make the charger cool down? Am so worried.: Don't worry. There is no more risk of fire than leaving anything else plugged in.

Q: i want to sell my psp 2000 and i cant find the charger for it: Chargers are only like $10 maybe like $60-75 for the unit, but you wont sell it unless you can turn it on to see if it works first. I suggest buying a charger and save some hassles from peoples questions, does it work, etc etc

It really depends on the charger design and the type of battery. I am assuming you are actually talking about cells. Although we all call cells batteries, a battery actually consists of two or more cells connected together in series to produce a higher voltage. Generally speaking however you can do either (especially with modern day chargers). If you use a lower capacity charger to charge a higher capacity battery, it will simply take longer time to fully charge the battery. If you use a higher capacity charger to charge a lower capacity battery, the circuitry inside the charger should limit the output current to a safe level. A higher capacity charger will not be able to charge a lower capacity battery any quicker however. If a battery has more charge current applied than it is designed for, it will overheat, damaging the battery, and possibly explode! That isn't an exaggeration, I have seen it happen a few times and in fact I've done it myself while playing around. I at least kept a safe distance away, unlike a co-worker who nearly lost a thumb about 25 years ago. Thanks.: Some chargers have a gang mode, so you can wire them in parallel for more current. Otherwise, you may max out one charger and not load the other, or with modern automatic chargers, confuse them. It probably won't harm the battery, and it would charge quicker, I just suspect the chargers would keep switching off because they'd see the battery as fully-charged when it was just the other charger keeping the voltage high. Given the fairly low price of new automatic high-current chargers, just buy a new one. Probably cheaper than a new battery.

Q: Does anyone know if a DS Lite charger would work with a regular DS? If not, does anyone know how to use a DS Lite Charger with a regular DS?: DS Lite charger only works with DS Lites, you seethere is a different shape plug that goes into the ds. So I have no idea how you could get the charger to work with the regular ds, if anything it would consist of crazy wires all over the place lol. Just go on Nintendo's online store and buy a regular DS charger if you need one.
