- When you say you have to wiggle it to get it to work do you mean you have to wiggle the socket that fits into your computer? If this is the case this sounds more of an issue with your power socket on your motherboard coming loose than a bad charger.

As long as the specifications are the same, it is fine. Make sure the voltage, amperage, and connector tip match. You should also never forget to use the same brand. - laptop battery's tend to not last that long on certain manufacturers. check the battery and bring it to get tested or purchase a new battery.

- Usually the charger has an indicator that shows full charge. I am not familiar with that particular charger. Seven hours should be enough time to charge any present day rechargeables.
