Q: If I leave some AA batteries in a charger for weeks, will the charger charge the batteries again when they get a little low? Or do most chargers only give that initial charge when the batteries are placed in the charger? THANKIES ALL!: The charger may have a 'kick off mode when the batteries are fully charged and thus stop supplying power. And then charge as needed. Devices like cordless telephones, cordless electric toothbrushes, etc., operate the charging process that way but they have and internal 'kick off' mode designed for the device to stay in an active charger. But the batteries you have left in the charger may get too hot and over time could damage the batteries. I would use them now and see how they function and then only charge as needed.

Q: I heard if you leave a phone plugged in for too long after it's fully charged it messes up the battery. With smart chargers it stops charging once the battery is 100% charged. Do iphones have smart chargers? Will anything happen to my phone if I leave it plugged in all night?: The charger isn't any smarter than any other one. It won't hurt to leave it in overnight. My little Samsung has a built in circuit that kicks off the charger to the battery connection once the battery is fully charged. Almost every new phone made does too. Some older phones will ~cook~ the battery when left on too long though.

Q: I have a dell studio 1555 the charger is breaking and ive done all sorts of repair work, i found my old dell and it came with an 150WATT charger (Latitude D420) and the charger with the 1555 is a 90watt. i was wondering would i be able to use the 150WATT charger? This days numerous cheap quality universal chargers have floated the market.They not only consume more power but may also crash the motherbiod of the system. So check the contact point of system with charger, see if there is any breakage or bending of small pins or circuit. Always buy genuine charger if u want to replace .They are little expensive but absolutely reliable.

Q: I have an acer aspire laptop running windows vista. (Not sure about details beyond that). The laptop charger seems to have stopped giving power to the laptop whatsoever. It won't charge it at all, or give it power without charging. The charger seems to have just stopped working. Or how could i find out without calling anyone!: 1500/ (the number on the charger) An extra hour or so is fine but if you charge it too long you will fry the battery. Smart chargers or even the quick chargers that discharge 6/7 cell batteries are a goodidea.

It is very unreliable though.How do i solve this?: Hey there, I've had an experience with an original (Toshiba not Dell, but same principle applies I think) charger, and the build quality on them is kind of rubbish without a lot in the way of reinforcement near the head, so my wire snapped there :-( I recommend grabbing an auto-voltage switching laptop charger. I'd try Universal Laptop Chargers (link below in sources), I bought mine from them a couple of months ago and it works a treat. Most importantly for you I think, if you buy from them and it doesn't fit, I believe they will give you a refund. However, a quick look on their website suggests they have the right head for a Dell laptop, so I think you'll be fine. I personally like it since it basically has the look and feel of a 120 pound charger you can buy at PC World, but for a fraction of the price since they're online. And it charges my mobile phone too, so I'm very happy with it. :-) Let us know how you get on!

Q: i decide to go with either a 2008 dodge charger or 2008 mustang with one do you think is better: get the mustang unless the charger has a hemiputting 4 doors on the charger was a shame, then making it a stationwagon? its sad reallyid get the mustang cause theres lots more aftermarket parts for body kits or engine upgrades and they're readily available.
