- Q: i download themes for my sony erisson w710i to my computer and can't figure out how to transfer them to my phone from my computer using the data cable. do i need a special program??
- No, if you got a disk with the phone u should install that first. And it should guide you from there. If u haven't got a disc, u MAY be able to do it this way: Connect the phone to the PC. If uve got a memory card in the phone, when you go into My Computer it should give you two new connected icons (i.e. ur phone and memory card) If you want to put songs on the memory card, double click the memory card's icon to go into it. And then there should be a folder which says MSCC or something like that (i'm goin off my memory here so i cant remember precisely) Go into media files And then there should be a folder which says themes so go into there and drag and drop the themes u want into that folder. Im not too sure what comes up if ur wanting to save it on ur phone's memory so i cant help ya there unless you give me the options it gives ya. If theres something i said wrong or you cant find the file then just email me back n tell me what it says. Hope it helps though :)

- it's going to be a case of goign through the menu's and changeing the connection settings in the phone. there should be a setting to set it to memory card or something simular. some phones need to be turned off and on with the usb cable attatched and it asks if you want to change it to a data mode (or something simular)

- Yes you need as many SATA cables as hard drives. Power for the HDDR's comes from the power supply. Yes you disk drive requires power from the power supply. I think for the GFX card you are taking about a 6 pin PCIe connector again power supply.
- Q: I got a Garmin nüvi270 for Christmas. When I connect it to my computer it powers itself down. Customer support told me this happens because I am using an incompatible USB cable. Upon further prodding he told me the cable I am using must not be a data transfer cable and suggested I buy a cable from Garmin because USB cables from PDAs and cell phones don't work since they are not data transfer cables. This sounds like a bunch of bull to me. I wasn't aware there was more than one type of USB cable. Anyone know anything about this? Should I call back and insist they find a real solution?
- This does sound like bovine excrement - mini USB is mini USB. however, from Personal experience, some mini USB cables work - some do not. best one to use with a picky device is a short, fat cable.

- Yes it can be reused. They may have meant that you can't move data from the original drive with the cable more than once which is obvious since it's all moved together.

- Radioshack or Microcenter(if you have one around) or Best Buy might have the cord. It's pretty hard to find computer parts in physical stores. Also you can get internet into a desktop using a wired connection that wires into the back of the computer using ethernet cable. For this you'd need a modem that is connected to the internet, you then run the cord from the modem to the computer. Almost every computer has atleast one built in ethernet connector. You could also get a PCI or USB wireless card if you have those slots availible and run a wireless network.
