- TIVO Series 2 for about $50. Rather over priced unless someone upgraded it with a big hard drive. For about $200 you can buy a Series 2 on OKorder with lifetime service. (Lifetime service is tied to the Tivo, not to the person that bought it) Do I need to pay TIVO a fee for some sort of service? Yes, with out the service it's pretty much useless. The service includes the famous TIVO menu system. I want to use it with Cox cable now, but very likely I would like to use it with over the air antenna. Any series 2 can directly connect to analog cable. They also came with an IR Blaster that can control cable boxes. If you are going to use the Tivo with an antenna, be sure to get a single tuner model. Dual tuner models do not work with antenna signals. Do any of the TIVOs have digital tuners, The Tivo HD has built in digital tuners. $250 - $300, Service changes are the same as Series 2. The single tuner series 2 can also control some coupon type converter boxes, so you can record digital over the air broadcasts with it. All I need to use it for, is to record a couple of hours of programs Walmart carries DVD/hard drive recorders with digital tuners starting at about $200. If you are talking about a couple of hours a week, used working VCRs are about $10 and will work with a converter box for over the air broadcasts.

- The HDMI cable goes between the monitor and the video card or onboard chipset. Even if the HDMI cable could carry signals back from a specially designed monitor with built-in touchscreen, where would they go? The video card has no use for them. And video cards do not send information from a cable to the motherboard beyond what type of monitor it is. I suppose if one had a matched video card and monitor just with that touch screen capability over HDMI cable, it could be possible. The possible is most times not economically viable. Where is the market for such items that are expensive, special, and of low volume production? And the market is already dominated by USB touchscreens.

- I'm not familiar with that particular mower, but in general they still make them. Yahoo answers isn't really the best place to ask this question- pick up the phone book, open the yellow pages, and look for any place that does maintenance on lawnmowers or small engines in general. They can almost certainly answer your question and sell you what you need. EDIT: or maybe MasTec 1970 will go and prove me wrong :P
- Q: i put my turbo 400 transmission in my car and forgot to connect the kickdown cable and i was wondering if its hard to connect it to the transmission itself and if so could i just block off the hole somehow and manualy downshift or would that hurt the transmission
- If you have a Turbo 400, there is no cable. It's an electrically controlled trans. This site shows how to do a Pontiac, but the same things need to be done to your Chevy if you don't have all the factory parts. If it's a Turbo 350, it will up shift fine, it just won't down shift without the cable or you doing it manually.

- Q: I just plugged in my HDMI cable and everything is working fine except I don't have any sound. I have a Sanyo TV screen that I have plugged into my PC computer using my new cable. I tried hitting input on my remote so I can switch volume control over to HDMI but instead of showing me a list of things to choose from it changed the channel. I have also tried switching from HDMI-1 to HDMI-2 but that didn't give me sound either. If there is anything you know of to help I would greatly appreciate it!
- 1: You failed to provide the model number of your computer or model number for the graphics card I don't know if it supports audio out of the hdmi output. 2: You failed to provide what operating system is on your computer I don't know the exact details for what you got, but you have to enable hdmi audio by making sure digital audio is enabled, sample rate or other qualities selected, rear/hdmi audio enabled.ect
