Q: How does your factory do regarding quality control of Carpets

Q: The rug with the rubber backing. If no, why not? I have been told not too but someone said it is no big deal.
Yes, I do it all the time with no problems, NEVER in the dryer though. I just hang it on the shower bar.
Q: I live on the North Shore in Massachusetts.I am looking for somewhere that would have classes on how to make braided rugs. Can anyone out there point me in the right direction? Thanks!
It seems like braided rugs are pretty intuitive -- just braid and sew, and use your imagination. If you are afraid of goofing up, you could try doing coasters or placemats first. I don't think you need a class, but sometimes it's nice to do it with other people.
Q: Please take a look at the following sectional. Can anyone tell me what color accent rug to buy? I dont want too much more brown because I am scared it will look over bearing. But it is hard to find an orange that matches the couch pillows perfectly. If this was YOUR couch what colors would YOU do?
There okorder /
Q: Does anyone have a rug cleaner recipe that contains ammonia, dish soap and water. And is depensed from a foaming container.
Is this a rug you can take outside.? if so, use the dishwashing liquid( just a little) and scrub it then rinse well, hang to dry..Mine come out beautifully.
Q: what is the best carpet cleaner for ditry cat hair filled carpets?
Probably any number of commercial products, or even renting a carpet steamer that many grocery stores have. But the first step is removing the cat hair, and that can be a challenge.
Q: I purchased this large rug at IKEA, I think its made of wooven cotton, but Im not sure (it doesnt have the tag anymore). Its really dirty, but I'm not able to put it in the laundry machine, its to big.The rug is this light cream color, so stains are very visible. Its got this weird stains, but they are made of dirt ,not of another substance. I already tried cleaning with the vacuum, but it doesnt remove them, the rug still looks dirty. Any ideas on how to clean it?
I used to have a rug like that. The first few years I had it I would hang it out over my clothesline and spray it with the hose using a gardening attachment, that instead of fertilizer I filled with a mixture of water and laundry soap. Once that was done I sprayed it with plain water to rinse out all the soap. After a few washes with hose it eventually came clean. I did this about 2 times a year. That rug lasted almost 10 years. I finally got rid of it when we got a new carpet. Of course you have to do this on a nice day so that you can leave the rug on the clothesline ot air-dry when you are finished.
Q: What size is the carpet of 0.4-0.6?
That Is 40 cm wide *60 cm long
Q: I have wall to wall carpets in my apartment. I have placed large rugs on top of the carpet. Without damaging the carpet or the rug, how can I stop them from .wrinkling and moving? Is it caused by static electricity?
Try by puttting them down and be careful where u walk. We have new carpet and my parents put down these clear coverings over them and they don't move and the carpet is clean. It works even if u stamp ur feet on them.
Q: How often do you vacuum your rugs? I do it about once a week and occasionally put down freshner on the carpet and then vacuum it a few minutes later
since i have two cats and one of them sheds like crazy i vacuum about every other day....i usually put down the powder too...it makes the odors go away
Q: My walls are painted light gray, I am looking to replace my carpet. Which color matches well with light gray. I had a light blue carpet. Should i get the same color
Take a color chip of the paint with you when you pick carpet. Some greys have undertones of yellow or brown that would work with carpets with those colors in them. Other grey paints work with blue/green or are neutral enough that any color carpet would work with them. We are redoing a bedroom currently inhabited by 2 young adult males. I wanted to lay down a ebony laminate floor (almost black) but was advised that it would show every spec of dirt, dust, cat hair, and scratches would be more noticeable. So I will probably go with Cherry, which is more in line with the flooring in the rest of our house. You can always change the color of your walls, which is cheaper than carpet.
