- Q: I haven't vacuumed my carpet in over 2 months and its really dirty. I know its disgusting but I hate this flat so much and I rarely come here, just to sleep. My room mate has a vacuum but its a standing up one and I hate those which is why I hate doing it plus my room is small and has a lot of stuff in it (huge walldrobe, dressing table, chest of drawers, bedside table, 2 person sofa, storage boxes, 2 chairs). Anyway we have mice and I put down sticky pad things and I found what I think is silverfish on it so I REALLY want to clean it properly now. Should I buy a carpet cleaner? I heard using vinegar but I'm not sure how. How would you go about cleaning it? should I just vacuum it continuously for like 10 minutes lol? And yes I know its gross but I'm really lazy.... don't judge me =/

- You should put tin foil on the legs so the wet does not stain the carpet of the furniture. Only put back what you need and do the rest after it dries. you can walk on it and use the rooms
- Q: I have a little 3x5 brown and beige zebra striped pottery barn rug in here, but I want to move it into my bedroom because my mom painting some amazing zebra paintings for it, and the rug simply goes with my decor in there. Now im smelling like a mildew/ gross dog smell (i dont have dogs) the AC has been on the whole time and the windows are opened...how do i get rid of this horrible smell!?
- when my parents used the rug doctor my mom would but oxy clean and also some laundry detergent (not that much) don't tell them you use that with the machines. it works great. I would put some febreeze just spray the carpet down or wait tilll it dries and then redo it with the oxyclean and laundry detergant.
- Q: so how can i clean a really short haired carpet without chemicals? i've heard something like really hot boiled water in a spray bottle, then sprayed all over the carpet, then vacuuming the carpet works? would it? any help is appreciated, of and its brown normally, im just trying to get some of the dirt and cat hair out of it. thankyou =]

- Don't okorder / this is the best easiest way to keep great looking carpets. You can rent the machine that brushes the product in and then you vacuum it. th machine doesn't cost too much to rent and the results are fabulous. I kept my carpets looking like new for 10 years. When I sold my home people couldn't believe it wasn't new carpeting. Also great for allergies.

- Q: I have a big rug in my bathroom (Not huge, its about 5' x 3').. it's thick and has a thick rubber back. I don't know how to describe what it's made of, but it's not the usual kind of rug you would find to go around the toilet (with a toilet seat cover to match), it's a more expensive rug and the threads kind of loop up and back in.. lol Does that make sense? Anyway, it's been in my bathroom for a while and I want to wash it but I don't want to ruin it. Help?
