1.Features Of Cage-guided Control Valve
Cage-guided Control Valve has a compact valve body, an S-shape flow passage that features low pressure loss and a stabilizer that regulates turbulent flow around the cage , allows a large flow capacity, rangeability and high accuracy flow characteristics, complies with the IEC534-2-1976 standards. High dynamic stability, low noise and little cavitation corrosion. The leakage complies with the ANSI B16.104 standards. The actuator integrated with simplest mechanisms utilizes a compact yet powerful diaphragm actuator loaded with multiple springs or cylinder actuator.

- Q: Hi. I looked at instructional videos for installing shutoff valves and instead of simply unscrewing old valve, the plumber simply cut the copper pipe. Is this necessary? Why can't I simply unscrew old shutoff valves from copper pipe?
- Before you think about cutting the pipe. You should know there is water pressure behind it. You must first shut your water off at the meter. If you opt to take on this endeavor by yourself you have some easy options. There are four types of connections to my knowledge. Soldered is most common and very effective but takes know how. Then there is compression, threaded (which involves sweating a connection on the copper, and then some genius has came out with this new type of connector commonly refered to as shark bite or gator bite (those being the top two leading brands). With these connectors all you must do is put the little plastic insert in the pipe then push the connector on. Ta da! Then your done. I would even bet they make a push on connector with the shut off valve. So to recap. Shut off water, cut the copper and remove burs from pipe, take that piece to the hardware store so you know you have the correct size of pipe fitting. Go home and push it on and then turn your water back on and your done.
- Q: What is it for? I was given a data set which is a result of antisurge valves testing every 2 seconds or so. (more than 1000 rows, measurements by time) I have no idea how to start analysis of the data like that. Can anyone help?
- I would think your spreadsheet is charting every move that the anti-surge valve makes - for example if it opens slightly, it takes a reading, if it closes, then another reading etc. Like the other guy says, it's there to basically protect the machine from surging, and no-flow. You should be able to decipher specific actions from those readings - Recycle Trip or Safety On for example. Recycle Trip is when the software sees the machine approaching the surge line and opens 10% (for example 10%), so you should be able to analyse whether you've had any of these events. As far as I know that's the only reason you would study that data - to compare the action of the anti-surge valve, with the process conditions at the time.
- Q: where is the bleed valve in a 97 taurus????thank you
- drain valve is under the plastic cover that shields the are between the front bumper cover and the frame... You didn't say what motor in the taurus but most had a 3.0 2 valve motor and there is no bleed valve... refill the coolant, leave the radiator cap off the bottle, start the car, turn the heater on and fan on high with the air direction pointing to vents (usually first one on the left after the off switch) run the engine till the heater gets hot (reving at 2,000 rpm does help)... when it gets hot, it's bled out... That's how most Fords and this taurus for sure is done
- Q: We have a 2005 GMC Sierra 1/2 ton truck that has a check engine light on. The dealer checked the code and he told us we need a new Evap Vent Valve and clamp. The cost is over 500.00 with labor being most of the cost. Is this diffcult to change out? Im a very mechanical person. Also he said it would be ok to drive for now but could cause problems down the road. ????like what?My wife is getting ready to take a trip in it, should it be ok for awhile? Dont have 500+ to spend on it now.
- Theres 2 valves . 1 is electronic , the other is a manual valve in the canister. The valve is normally in the charcole canister. These canisters have been pretty much the same design for years. You could probably find another at a junk yard to fit , even if it was a different year/body. Seeing how a code finder found it . It's probably the electronic valve. It is a simple open close valve. 1 connector and usually 2 vacuum lines. You can also plug the line going to the intake. this will prevent a lean mixture from an unregisted air leak. The valve is used to direct tank vapors that accumulate in the canister at start up. At start up the valve opens and the engine sucks gas vapor from the canister . once the engine is started the valve closes .Vapor gas has a quicker ingnition point then liquid gas. A quick fix would be to simply plug the line going to the intake , with a bolt or screw to fit the end of the hose. This is only to prevent a lean mixture from air getting in behind the mass air flow sensor. The light on the dash will come on when the O2 sensor in the exhaust smell the lean mixture thats not being adjusted by the injectors as told to do. I run an older multi port fuel injected truck and have compleatly blocked all the emmisions systems off and removed them. It's only an emmisions device , it has nothing to do with the preformance of the engine (unless it allows a leak). Just plug it and have no worries of it becoming a problem
- Q: Hi. I am planning to install new kitchen faucet and noticed that there are two shut off valves under the sink. One of them is badly rusted and needs to be replaced. I noticed that it is connected to three pipes (one of which is kitchen faucet). The other is clearly water coming in. What is the third one connected to wall? Also how should I go about replacing this? Anything that I should be careful of? Thank you. Here's picture of shutoff valve.
- You can install a pullout kitchen sink faucet on a wide variety of sinks. There are many options, but the same is not true for the other type of faucet sprayer: A spout sprayer. Let's say you have a old sink to work with. You're probably going to be able to install a pullout sprayer with little problems. You probably won't be able to do the same with a faucet sprayer built in to the spout on an older sink though. These are excellent when you want to spray and wash your vegetables. When you hold your vegetables under a typical faucet, you have to roll them around with your hands in order to loosen any dirt or other contaminants. The sprayer works like a mini hose and can do that work for you.
- Q: What are the requirements for valve automation?
- Valves are commonly available for both liquid and gas. You would begin by determining operating pressure, volume, nature of fluid, and temperature of fluid. The electrical requirements are as simple as supplying power to a solenoid. Mechanically, automatic valves are sophisticated. Begin by researching the water supply valves for a domestic washing machine.
- Q: I have an 07 mazda 3, I-4 with 16 Valve. Anyone know what 16 valve means?
- 16 Valve
- Q: The pig heart is better than our heart but the valves can be used to help us.
- cape.uwaterloo.ca/che100projects/... They also use cow - bovine - for valve replacements.
- Q: I am making a vacuum chamber and need to suck the air out by a tube. What valve do I use? Pin valve, ball, or ? What are they typically called? Compression valves? What if they are designed for water?
- Any valve rated WOG (water, oil, gas) is OK for vacuum. Maximum vacuum pressure differential is atmospheric pressure (14.7psi, 101.3kPa, 1 bar). For convenience, you might use a barbed valve which is sized for tubing (See Yahoo! Images: barbed conical gas valve). Any plumbing and heating supply, or commercial cooking equipment supply will have a variety of miniature bronze gas valves to choose from.
- Q: I've been diagnosed with mitral valve prolapse, my doctor just told me that i need to setup an appointment with the hospital to look at treatments for heart mitral valve prolapse-to possibly have a heart valve replaced. I am wondering if i should setup an appointment with mayo clinice in minnesota to get another opinion on that? I'm wondering if surgery is an only option available to me, i have been taking beta blockers that have been no help for the past 3-4 months. Thanks.
- was this diagnosis made by a cardiologist? You said your doctor - are you referring to your primary MD. I am going to assume the MVP diagnosis was made by a cardiologist . the referral to the hospital - is this to a cardiac surgery program at the hospital. You may definitely want to get a second cardiology opinion. Do you live near the Mayo clinic? You also have to consider your health care insurance and what they will cover. It sounds as if your MD is sending you in the appropriate direction - to a hospital - to look at treatments. Can you call this hospital to find out more about the services to which you are being referred?
