1.Features Of Steam Jacket Control Valves
Steam Jacket Control Valves are applicable for the service requiring heat preservation. When the crystallization temperature of fluid is lower than ambient temperature or the fluid temperature is falling, it will cause the viscosity increasing or the fluid solidified, then the valve body and bonnet require steam jacket units to meet the requirement of process control
The leakage complies with the ANSI B16.104 standards. The actuator integrated with simplest mechanisms utilizes a compact yet powerful diaphragm actuator loaded with multiple springs.
This product complies with the GB/T4213-2008 standards.

- Q: Ok so I have a Honda Civic 97 lx and what happened was that when I did an oil change the next day the car started over heating, the car only had pure water and no coolant, the over heating part happened during noon when I was driving on the freeway the next day and not the night I made the oil change... After that I decided to put 50/50 coolant but the car still over heats, a friend told me that I probably needed to do a coolant system bleed, I try to do it but I couldn't find the bleeding valve or bleed screw... can anyone pls tell me where that valve or screw is located, I discovered a sort of valve that is covered by a black rubber cap , its next to the engine I don't know if that's what I'm looking for.....
- Your car does not have a coolant system bleeder valve built in. Most of the time you would bleed it using the coolant temp sensor as your bleeder. Remove it with the engine cold and start the car. As soon as a steady stream of liquid (without bubbles/air pockets) becomes visible, quickly thread the coolant temp sensor back in and snug it down. Shut the car and top off the coolant reservoir and your done. Good luck!
- Q: looking to get a greddy type rs blwout valve for my sti, but i wana noe wut exactly da blowut valve does....kause i just got da car and i bought warranty, and i wana make sure ma warranyt doesnt void.....and how hard would it be to change da blowout valves....frum ma old 1 to dis new 1......so just incase ma warranty does void kause of da blwout valve wenneva i have problems i could switch it back to da original 1HELPPP???
- A blowoff valve releases turbo pressure when shifting or when you're off the throttle. A BOV is basicly a vacuum tube connected to the intake manifold and two bolts(sometimes there will be a pipe to route the released intake pressure to prevent the engine from stalling), and shouldn't be too hard to change out in under 20 minutes or so, because it will void your warranty.
- Q: How do I adjust the valves on a 96 Blazer, 4.3 V6? When we tighten them to torque specs there is no compression, then when we loosen them and get compression, they loosen up to loose after its been running...any help!, THanks!
- There really is no setting for them, they are hydraulic lifters, tighten the lock nut down til zero lash, then tighten 3/4 turn more. if they are still noisy or loose they probably need to be replaced, if that is the case be sure to check and see if the cam needs to be replaced as well, chances are if the lifters need to be replaced so does the cam...you can run new lifters on an old cam...but Never run used lifters on a new cam. You can go to the Library and look this up in a chiltons or haines manual ... it will tell you the same thing.
- Q: I was wondering if the pressure relief valve can be vented right under the house or does it have to be ran to the outside of the house. Also is there another method such as a catch pan that I can employ? I live in Washington.
- I would be curious to see what plumbing professionals have to say about this. From what I could find, the codes for water heater relief valves just say that the valve must have a drain pipe that discharges the hot water and steam down low, instead of up near the top where it can spray in your face. They also say that the discharge should be outside of the building, but that this is not always feasible and you can install a drip pan below the water heater for this purpose. In this case, I would think that running the discharge line to underneath the house should be okay. But, I'm not a plumber. For what it's worth, my water heater is in a closet that's accessed from outside and the discharge line from my pressure relief valve just discharges to the bottom of the closet (this was installed by a licensed plumber and signed off by the city on a remodel 2 years ago). Apparently, it's okay to just let the discharged water flow out from underneath the water heater closet door to the outside. So, I don't see why it would be against code to run the discharge line to a crawl space under the house. The point of the codes is to prevent your water heater from exploding and destroying your house (or killing or injuring you).
- Q: My pressure reducing valve has gone bad. This looks like a pretty simple change. My question is do i loosen the union nut first (after draining water line), then loosen the whole valve??? Then reverse to install??? Any info would be great....
- Sometimes a valve can get something stuck in the valve like rust or sand and just need flushing. The reason you have a pressure reducing valve is because of the high main pressure. If you have a tight system it will build up pressure even if the valve is good if you do not have an expansion tank for your hot water tank this will also make your water heater vent about a quarter cup most every time it fires up if no faucets are leaking. You need to know how to shut off the pressure from the main. Then you are right it is simple to change the valve. The city has crazy pipe threads that you can't get but I don't think they would be on your pressure regulator Some cities have smart meters and I think they may know when you shut the valve off to the meter. Some one may be out to see why the meter stopped. The cut off valve and the meter belongs to the city or water provider in most places. Most cities do not want you to operate their valve

- Q: My new Trek 1000 has a type of valve stem different from the standard (car type) stem on my mountain bike. Do I need an adaptor to fit it to a pump or do I need a whole new pump? Also, have you seen a tire gauge that fits this stem type?
- You can buy a little adaptor that screws onto the valve stem so that you can use your present pump and gauge with this type of stem. The adaptors cost about $1 or so. Get two because if you're like me, you'll lose one.
- Q: where on the motor is the valves location
- The idle air control valve can be found under the throttle body. In order to get to it: 1. Disconnect negative battery cable. 2. Remove air intake from throttle body. 3. Disconnect throttle body cable. 4. Disconnect sensor connectors from IAC valve, and throttle position sensor. 5. Remove 4 bolts from throttle body using 10mm socket wrench. 6. Take throttle body, turn bottom side up, remove 4 mounting screws from IAC Once you do that you have removed the IAC. Reverse the steps to put it back on starting at number 6 and working your way back to number one How do you replace an air idle control valve? Replacing an idle control valve can be a daunting task. For your specific application, we recommend to ask in our car forum for advice. Here we will describe the basic process for replacing your idle control valve. Please note that for different cars and trucks the process will not be the same. Steps to replace your idle control valve You will want to begin by first gaining access to the idle control valve. In order to do this you will need to remove the air filter assembly, along with the air mass sensor and the air mass meter boot. Once you remove this whole assembly, you should have easy access to the throttle body. Remove the four bolts that secure the throttle body to the intake manifold. Usually on the bottom of the throttle body, on fuel injected cars, there is a idle control valve. To remove the old valve, simply unscrew or unbolt it. Bolt on the new valve, and reinstall everything. Make sure you replace your throttle body gasket at this time.
- Q: i have a 1987 nissan 300zx and i can get the car to start unless its 40 degrees and when it does it idles hard. is this idle control valve or a fast idle valve??
- Could be.. Also could be dirty. Easy fix, remove the valve and spray carb cleaner in the hole.. Using a small brush, clean the bore that the valve rides up and down in. Also, inspect the valve while it is off the manifold. Harder fix: After cleaning the bore, replace valve with brand new one. Your car will have to relearn the idle after starting with the new valve or after you put the old one back in.. Start car, but do not put it in drive or give it any throttle until the computer has finished making adjustments. - Dave. (Long Island, NY)
- Q: this question was on my test for APII, the question is stated as:the tricuspid valve is closed...a) during rapid filling of the ventricles (this is the answer the teacher shows to be correct)b) by contraction of the papillary musclesc) while the atria contractd) during ventricular contraction (this is the answer i chose i got it wrong)please let me know to correct answer!! thanks!!
