Q: How to remove the oil from the carpet is the best?
Carpet cleaning will be a certain proportion of flour, salt and gypsum powder, ratio (6:1:1), water heating and cooling into a paste to become dry bulk, and then pressed into small pieces, and in the carpet, and hard brush to rolling on the carpet, roll up into a powder, then use a vacuum cleaner the net can be.
Q: Carpet anti-skid pad does not work, what should I do?
The problem is on your chair! The wheel under the chair is too dead or the friction on the heel pad of the chair is too large. There is also a way to increase the carpet, so that your feet range of motion with the chair in the same blanket.
Q: So my brother and his friends were tie dying some shirts at my house and some how a bunch of dye got on the carpeting. Is there anyway to get that out? Also any way to get ink stains out of the carpet as well?
For those type of stains I really think you may need a professional cleaning service. The Tie dye stain can be a permanent stain on the carpet. The ink maybe worked out but again it depends on what type of ink. This I would most definitely call for Professional assistance.
Q: hello, im getting a horse soonshe is a 15.3hh 5year old mare irish type sorti live in eastern england so the weather is pretty changeable :/i was looking at some horse rugs and i found some i like i thought that i would get 6 (3 stable 3 turnouts)i was going to get a :12oz/340g filled turnout9oz/250g filled turnoutand a no fill turnout sheet.14oz/400g filled stable8oz/220g filled stableand a waffle/fleece stable do u think that would be ok? first time horse owner you see want to get it right :) do i need more or more heavy filled rugs??thanks xXp.s the horse will be out in the summer months and in at night out during the day in winter
I have a 15.2 hh Fat horse, as round as a pumpkin! He is generally a 60 rug but can fit into a 59! He is also a cob! If you are going to have a couple of rugs, id have the bottom one or 2 as a 59 and the top ones as 60. Also i rekon he would be a cob. But i dont think there is much difference in a 5'9and a 6'0, so if you thought he may fill out or get rounder once you get him than you may be better just going with 6'0!
Q: I have a carpet with some pretty bad old stains and I was wondering, what would be the very best pretreater to use before I clean it with a rug doctor?

Q: what is everyones opinion on carpet vs carpet tiles. price ability to keep clean etc. thanks
In my son's pediatrician's office there was wall to wall carpet. It was often stained. Finally they removed the rug and used the carpet tiles. I commented to the receptionist on how nice the waiting room looked and she said these carpet tiles are a godsend because when one get stained, they simply lift it up and replace that one square. So, for an office/waiting room with lots of kids coming and going, it really does work. But, these were commercial grade.
Q: i recently had a basement flood which covered the floor in 4 inches of water. After using two pond vacuum's, and a carpet shampoo and water extractor, the carpet and the pad are still wet. I would love to get the same carpet as i had. They do not have it on the Abbey carpet site anymore...HERE IS THE CARPET THAT WE HAD.
If its not on the Abbey site there are only 2 reasons for this.. The carpet is no longer made and discontinued or who ever you bought the carpet from has private labeled the carpet so no one shopping for an Abbey carpet ( or any thing else in their store) won t be able to cross shop and price compare. Big box stores are know to do this and some mom and pop stores. I never did. Now a suggestion.. Pull up the carpet and the pad. The pad is probably ruined. The carpet is more often than now salvageable if you can get it to dry. Or get a professional carpet cleaner in to vac out the carpet. they may be able to pull out enough water and along w/ fans and a dehumidifier, you may be able to save it. Most home owners policy's cover flood damage, its worth a call. Any questions you can e mail me through my avatar. GL
Q: ive got 2 rugs in my kitchen i need to wash but they have a rubber back and im worried if i put them in the washier the rubber will wear off. last time i washed my fathers rugs for him the rubber started to come off in small chunks (it was also the first time they had ever been washed) and i dont want the same to happen to mine. im not worried about drying them id just lay them outside on the porch rail and let them air dry. does anyone have any suggestions? if i hand wash them will they get just as clean as if they were washed in the washer?
Wet the rugs, outside, with warm water, whip up a couple of drops of dish soap in a gallon container, brush the rugs with a wooden handle brush, and then rinse with the garden hose to remove the soil and the soap. Allow the rugs to drip dry and bask in the sun.
Q: So in one room of my house, the carpet is ****** up. Long story short bleach stains were better than blood stains, so one corner is all discolored while other areas have Kool Aid stains or just dirty. The room is roughly 15'x15', so around 225 sqft. In your opinion how much am I looking at if I want to replace it altogether? Thanks
Depending upon quality og carpet.
