- Q:Here is a picture of it...I want to make it white somehow I just loved the shape and how comfy it is and can't afford a $250 chair so I decided to get a $25 chair from craigslist and cover it to make it white instead. I have covered chairs and stools and a bench before but nothing with a complex shape like this. It's the arm rests that throw me off. How would I do this? Thanks!
- It depends upon whether you want a custom fit (what it has now) or a slip cover. If you want a custom fit, you take off the fabric that is now on the chair and use it as a template/pattern to cut the white fabric. You sew it together, then apply the new white cover, finishing off with whatever they used to hide the last touches. You may need a staple gun, tacks and hammer, etc., and you can buy lots of helpful upholstry gadgets at shops that carry such items. They've got some of the neatest items! If you want a slip cover then you measure everything after you decide how you want to cut the pieces of fabric. You'll be able to use quite long lengths in places, then you start sewing smaller pieces on - but this all depends upon your planning. You could use straps or flaps or nails under the seat to hold it on but slip covers generally don't fit tightly.
- Q:Was looking around on the net for a business idea add on, already have a successful window cleaning business but was kind of thinking those massage chairs you see in malls and shops might be an easy money earner as an add on business, does anyone operate one currently or have done in the past and think its a waste of money.
- I don't think so, back in New York in the malls i have seen at least one and they have always been empty. People walk right by them or just sit in them and don't put money into them. Have you thought of gumball machines?
- Q:The chair has a handle on the right side that allows the chair to go to full height when not occupied. After it is occupied an hour or so, the chair sunks to the lowest level. I do not see any liquid leaking. Is there some adjustment I can make or seal to replace? If so--how do I do it?

- Q:I'm starting to get into gaming. I'm not looking for a gaming chair, I'm looking for an office chair that's comfy. I have an xbox and I'm getting a desk for Christmas. I want to throw in an office chair too. Since I will be gaming on my desk, I will be sitting for long periods. I currently have this plastic Ikea chair that hurts my back after a while. I'm looking for the chair to be 100 dollars and less. I can't spend too much. I've seen there's mid-back, task chair, and a high executive. The high executive's are very pricey, but they look so comfy. Task chair's just look alright, Idk. Mid-back's look pretty comfy too. Thanks!

Since The number of chairs per row is two less than twice the number of rows that means that the number of chairs in one row written in equation form would be 2x - 2. so since there are 144 chairs we set up an equation like so: x(2x - 2) = 144; we solve it by first setting it to zero x(2x - 2) = 144 2x^2 - 2x = 144 2x^2 - 2x - 144 = 0 Next we factor the trinomial: 2x^2 - 2x - 144 = 0 2x^2 - 2x - 144 2(x^2 - 2 - 72) 2(x + 8)(x - 9) finally we set what's in parentheses to zero the solve: x + 8 = 0 - 8 -8 x = -8 x - 9 = 0 +9 +9 x = 9 So x is either -8 or 9 however since a negative number cannot be used in a equation -8 can't be an answer to the problem. only 9 (Which is positive) works here. so there are 9 rows of chairs So since earlier we said that x = the number of rows the number of rows is 9. Now to solve for the number of chairs in each row we simply go to where it states 2x - 2 because that expression equals the number of chairs and we substitute 9 for x: 2(9) - 2 18 - 2 16 So there are 16 chairs in each row.

- I used to have a gold couch which I paired with 2 chocolate brown, sueded chairs, so, no - as long as the colors of the furniture complement or contrast go with the carpet wall color - mix n/ match as much as you want. Beige, tan, ecru, gold, burnt orange all go well if you want to stick with earth tones, or, are going for a southwestern feel. If you want a more modern feel, you could combine the couch with chairs in shades of blue (aquas, powders, teals, etc.) or pinks, light purples, ivory or even black. You're the one who has to live there. Do what feels right for yourself.

- Q:so this summer im thinking just for fun me and my friend should make chairs. so im thinking what this project will cost me. and also i have NO tools other then like a screw driver probly. so im wondering all together how much am i looking at and also plz list all the tools and there prices as well.
- Chairs are ambitious projects for a beginner. They must be both engineered and built well so they withstand use and designed well so they look and feel nice. To add to the complications, most chairs have no square joints. I think you'd better consider another project.
