- Q: Hi!I have a typical desk/office chair and I want to reupholster its seat.It is made of nylon fabric.I would like to know if it is possible to find a store that sales upholstery for desk chairs (And which also has upholstery that will fit my chair properly), and how hard will it be to take off the current upholster and put the new one (Is it possible anyway?)Thanks!
- There should be screws underneath holding the seat to the chair. Take them out and the seat will lift off. Measure the size and buy fabric, which by the way Walmart sells heavy grade upholstery fabric. But, buy it where each seat piece will have at least 4 inches overhang on each side. Just lay the seat on the fabric and use a staple gun to staple the new cloth on. (Try to keep the padding that is there now, unless it's worn or too dirty.) When stapling, start in the center of the first side and work out. If there's too much excess fabric, just trim it off. Then re-screw them back on the chair. Voila!

- I used to waitress and I always appreciated people who pushed their chairs back under the table when they left. It just makes it easier, especially if the restaurant is busy, so that other people and the waitresses to move around the room. Usually though if chairs are moved from a different side of the table people don't bother putting them back, which I can understand.

- nope. bad on the pelvis especially if you're one of those who easily dislocate their hip joint. not to mention after using it in that position for Long periods of time. you're legs become prone to falling asleep faster and more often. looks nice though..

- Q: Here is a picture of it...I want to make it white somehow I just loved the shape and how comfy it is and can't afford a $250 chair so I decided to get a $25 chair from craigslist and cover it to make it white instead. I have covered chairs and stools and a bench before but nothing with a complex shape like this. It's the arm rests that throw me off. How would I do this? Thanks!
