- Q: I am getting married this October and I'm having my reception in a banquet hall...it's very nice and of course they provide white tableclothes for their round tables but their chairs are like an ugly pinkish color...I'm wanting to get some white chair covers to cover them up and make it look more elegant. The banquet hall recommended a place that they use and I guess the people come out and steam the covers on the chairs so they aren't wrinkled and they have a display out at the hotel we are having the reception at and they are really nice but they are $6 a chair cover and I'm having over 200 guests at my wedding and I don't want to be spending that kind of money on just chair covers. Just wanted to know if any of you have ever ordered chair covers online that you can rent? I found a website where you can rent them and they are only like $1 or $2 for each chair cover, but I hate to order them and they come and are are really wrinkled and don't even look nice...any of you done this?
- I have a similar situation and my banquet hall also charges $6/chair cover. I've already included it as one of my wedding costs - but I agree it's a rip off. If you want to buy the $2 chair covers I would ask a friend to help you coordinate this on your wedding day. Keep in mind that they will probably come folded and will all need to be pressed. Decide if saving the $800 is worth ironing 200 chair covers and putting them on the chairs on your wedding day.
- Q: i'm looking for one almost exactly like this one, but if it's not totally the same I don't mind, I want with arms like this, I want brown, light or dark blue, grey or an earthy green color but I might end up reupholstering it. I'd hopefully want it to be under $280 but I'm willing to spend a bit more if it fits all the requirements, thanks so much!!

- Q: I'm pretty / 100% sure it was William Kemmler because he was the first person to be electrocuted or fried in the chair!! Am I right?
- Alfred P. Southwick developed the idea of using electric current as a method of execution when he saw an intoxicated man die after touching an exposed terminal on a live generator. As Southwick was a dentist accustomed to performing procedures on subjects in chairs, his electrical device appeared in the form of a chair. The first electric chair was made by Harold P. Brown. Brown was an employee of Thomas Edison, hired for the purpose of researching electrocution and for the development of the electric chair. Since Brown worked for Edison, and Edison promoted Brown's work, the development of the electric chair is often erroneously credited to Edison himself. Thomas Edison had been developing a direct current (DC) electrical system. The electric chair was designed to use alternative current (AC) in an effort to discredit the superior technology of George Westinghouse's alternating current (AC). Edison hoped to associate AC power with death and convince people that AC was unsafe for use in their homes. The first person to be executed via the electric chair was William Kemmler in New York's Auburn Prison on August 6, 1890. The first woman to be executed in the electric chair was Martha M. Place, executed at Sing Sing Prison on March 20, 1899.
- Q: I came across a probability problem and am having trouble coming up with the answer. There are 9 people in a group and 9 chairs to sit in. If 3 of them are girls and 3 chairs are pink, what are the chances that the 3 girls sit in the 3 pink chairs? Assuming everything is perfectly random and each person has the same probability to sit in any of the 9 chairs. Thanks!
- p (pink chair) 3/9 p (girls) 3/9 P (girls pink chair) 6/9 i took my statistics final today and i am probably pulling this out of nowhere but maybe this is it lol
- Q: how would you describe an old chair a sort of velvet well worn one in 20 words
- Firewood.
- Q: My office chair smells very strongly.Kind of a farty/pooey smell.How do i clean it?Its tweed covered.
- Well, they need washing too, like your pants. Problem is you can't throw them into the washer. It's a damp sponge, soapy water, immediately blot, repeat, repeat, repeat and leave for the weekend. Come back Monday and spray with Febreeze. Don't forget to wash the rest of the chair, any arm rests, they get sweaty too.
- Q: wahat is the most expensive commercial executive office task chair
- i for my area could decide for a chair that provides stable help besides as convenience as while you're sitting on it doing distinctive artwork you have your well-being to think of roughly. i does not care if it became into fabric or leather-based as long as I had my well-being standards
- Q: Hi There!I have a rocking chair that was my great great grandmothers. It is in very good condition and I would like to know the value of it. We estimate that it is from the late 1800s or early 1900s, possibly older. Thank you!

- Q: Bam Margera has some Adirondack chairs made out of skateboard decks. Does anyone know how to make one or know where there's directions in how to make them. I found plans for a regular Adirondack chair, but it's different then how it's made with the decks.
- All Cedar outdoor furniture is subject to the process of checking. Checking happens as the wood releases moisture, and normally occurs across or through the annual growth rings. It is a result of wood seasoning. Checking occurs only on the surface of the wood, and does not affect the structural performance or integrity of the wood. The wood color is a creamy white this will blend great with any home's decor. For different color options please contact us for e-mailed pictures.
- Q: While the National Anthem played was Obama thinking... I would have never set up these chairs like this, when I was a community organizer I set them up straight as an arrow .
- Kind of revealing - right?
