- I'm guessing he(?) saw it spin and maybe thought of it as something predatory. What I'd do is hold your cat closely in your arms, talking in soft tones and petting him/her then walk slowly to the chair, sit down with your cat still in your arms and just hold him for awhile, then let the chair slowly turn back and forth and just keep talking to him, holding him. After awhile he/she will be more curious than scared; then soon after that he/she will be leaving hair all over your chair and you will have to move him/her to use your computer (like I do!) lol. Truly!

- This chair design looks pretty simple. You can remove the old material and use that as a pattern for your new material. Take your time and have the tools handy; tack hammer, stapler, etc. Also,, most communities have adult hobby classes at their community colleges and just may have one in upholstering where you can bring your chair in and work on it with supervision.

- Q: I am repairing one leg of a mortise ant tenon teak chair. The joint has come loose and I dont really want to take the whole chair apart to fix one leg. I know you are supposed to rub the joint with acetone before gluing in up. The problem with that is that I cannot do a good enough job of cleaning the wood as the mortise and tenon is just loose and there is no real way of taking it apart.My question, id there a way of getting the glue sufficiently in the joing without taking the chair apart. Secondly, what glue could I use that doesnt require rubbing the piece with acetone.Thanks
- Try Murphy's Oil Soap (found in local grocery or mass merchant) and a non-scratch pot scrubber (it's like plastic steel wool). This should take off dirt, dust, and gunk without harming the natural finish.

- Ok I'm sure you've checked already, but I was at Babies R Us this weekend and they had a ton. They even had this adorable soft Dora couch. I would try their website. Nickelodeon Universe at the Mall of America has a few shops with everything Dora you could imagine, entire bedroom sets with a Dora bed, sheets, wall art, table and chairs, etc.-But if you don't live in Minnesota it may not be an option.

- Q: Hi so today my band teacher assigned us our place in the band and I got second chair for flutes. It's that good or bad? I wanted to get first chair but I guess I wasn't playing my best. :P so is second chair considered good or bad? Will I get anything like special from it? Or should I work my way to first chair since in my school we can challenge the chair above us. I want a opinion so I can make up my mind.Oh and if it helps, the other first chair (we have two groups for flutes) guy is kind of annoying and he always distracts the people around him. I know I should I have a good relationship with others but I dislike him
- You should challenge no matter where you sit, and if you ever get to be first, you should encourage people below you to challenge. Competition makes you better, and as long as you have that drive you will be fine. Which flute section are you in, and how many flutes are there? Second chair in the first group is good if there are ten of you, not so good if there are only three. Second chair in the second group is probably not all that impressive. You will never like everyone in your band or orchestra. Learn to do your part, make friends with a handful of people and learn everyone else's name. Beyond that, you should keep to yourself and limit conversation to small talk. Spending too much time on relationships with band mates will draw you into the drama, and you will end up making enemies instead. Focus on the music and your own advancement, and you will be much happier with yourself and find it much easier to get along with others.

- I didn't get one until my son was out of our room at a month. I wish I had done it sooner as it was so much easier to feed and sit comfortably. I ended up getting one at Walmart online and it was JUST as nice ans soooo much cheaper! My nursery is all Pottery Barn and the glider matches totally! GL!
