- Q: I have a microfiber chair that is looking a little dingy, what is the best way to clean it? Is there a good product? Any advice??
- I had a Microfiber chair. I also have a black lab. When she was a puppy, she would vomit, pee, and do almost every imaginable nasty thing to that chair that you can imagine. Here is how i cleaned it when needed... 1. I have a bissell carpet cleaner with hose attachments. I filled the resevoir with HOT water. I filled the cleaner tank with... lysol cleaner with fabreeze. I first sprayed the chair with the cleaner out of a spray bottle so that the cleaner could work its magic for 15 minutes before i turned on the bissell. After presoaking with the cleaner, i turned on the bissell and sprayed it with hot water. i waited for a few minutes, 5 at most, and then began to spray and suction repeatedly all over the chair. This worked awesome and did not discolor or bleach the fabric. It also left the fabric smelling very very nice, since it had febreeze in it. After i cleaned it, i sprayed the chair with 3M SCOTCH GUARD in order to prevent later stains. Now my puppy is fully grown and doesn't do nasty things to the furniture. Good Luck. -Luis Pernia

- I don't like those vibrating massage chairs. They just make my skin itch after sitting in them. I have an iJoy massaging chair and it's like the massage tables chiropractors have. There are these rollers in it that travel up and down the back of the chair. And, with different settings, you can get different massaging action with them. I think these are about $750 or so at Costco. But, if you're looking for a massage chair, they are definitely the way to go.

- Smoke can be hard to get out of furniture. You can try cleaners that are specific to getting rid of smoke, but check a patch of fabric first to make sure that you don't ruin it. You could also try the good old baking soda trick - sprinkle it all over the chair and leave for a few days before vacuuming off. Or, try sprinkling a foot powder (one that gets rid of odours) over the chair and leaving for a day or two.

- yes. They are boarded first and deplaned last using an aisle chair, a wheelchair that fits down the aisle of an aircraft. For best results, try to avoid flight segments not boarded through a jetbridge (where you have to use the aircraft boarding stairs) -- it can be done but it's very awkward. Talk to an airline representative about the equipment you'll need (lead-acid batteries require special handling), and if you'll require oxygen on board. A premium cabin (first or business) would be way, way, way better. The airline will do its best to accomodate your needs.

- Q: The styling chair model is a CC-1808T from CCI Beauty. I want to be able to seperate the top from the base. Does anyone have a chair like this? Is there a way to seperate the two?
- most of them chairs will have a gas power push up in the base but all of that section should just unscrew from under the seat. You have to get down and dirty on the floor to see. be brave a pull back any covering.
