- Q: Who has owned and recommends Electrolux vacuum cleaners?
- I bought a Guardian Aerus Electrolux. The Electrolux at Sears is a Fancy Kenmore with the Electrolux label. The true Electrolux has to have the Aerus Logo. Check with dealers. At first I loved mine but then it started losing suction. I had it serviced but it was never the same. I would recommend the SEBO it is a hospital grade vacuum and I like it SOOO much better! I have three kids with allergies and a dog... I had to have a good vacuum and I have owned Kirbie's, Electrolux, Stand up traded it up right away, for the Guardian, after a few years hated it it was bulky and lost suction, traded up for a Sebo and WOW I love it... And it is a stand up. But the suction is just as good as a canister.. Usually Canisters have more suction.... My mother also loves her Sebo and she has 4 dogs. We are corky and one day bored we argued over who had the better vacuum... Needless to say she won... I used the Guardian and then she went over the same spot with the Sebo and I was impressed on how much stuff she was able to pick up!!!
- Q: Subquestion: Do vacuum cleaners make good lovers?
- Ron Paul
- Q: This is the add quot;START NOW Hamilton based company has openings in all departments: v Sales v Service v Office v Warehouse $2,750 monthly/$18.42hr to start All training provided for selected applicants. Call for Interview Mon. Tue. Only 905-560-4888 quot;I went for an interview today and got the job. The company is called world wide industries and says they are rated quot;number onein Canada. After searching on google for the company I cant find any information about them. They didnt tell me what I would be selling but when you call the number it says vacuum cleaners. They said they set all of the appointments up for me and the equipment I just go and sell the product. My first day is wednesday and I have to wear a dress shirt and tie etc. I was wondering if anyone has heard about this? Is this a scam? Is this a waste of my time?
- The same thing actually just happened to me too today, almost down the the EXACT detail you said. The only difference was that it was in Barrie that I went, and the company name wasn't World-Wide. But the part about the vacuums, the hourly rate, the quick hire after the interview...EVERYTHING else was the same for me. Based on the rest of these answers, I'm bailing out. I'm not even gonna work the first day. It can't be a co-incidence that 2 different companies in 2 different cities are doing the EXACT same thing. I'd bail out too, before something bad happens. This can't be a real legit job. It's definetly really sketchy. Bail out. Don't work this job.
- Q: If sound doesnt travel through a vacuum, why are vacuum cleaners so loud?
- That would be the motor you are hearing, which is not in vacuum. Good play on words though. Take it up to space and you won't hear a thing ;-)
- Q: How many of you have a vacuum cleaner that was made dirt cheap?
- Mine was free, I found it in a garbage bin. It's a type of Hoover that looks like a flying saucer, fixed the plug which was broken and volia new free vacuum cleaner. Its taped all over but works really well. Acey Deecey
- Q: Or are they usually overpriced?
- It okorder /
- Q: Opinions please on Bosch vacuums Iknow that they have really good appliances but I'm not sure about the vac. Any help would be great.
- I recommend that you check the March 2006 issue of Consumer Reports. On page 30 is a full report with ratings on vacuum cleaners. They tested both uprights and canisters, and the Bosch Premium Prestige($800) came out number 2 in the canisters. The Sears Kenmore Progressive($500) came out number one, and had more features for less money. If you want to save even more money, check out the Sears Progressive with Direct Drive. It came it number one in the upright vacuums, and will save you even more money at $300. Good luck!
- Q: Do vacuum cleaners help clean cat hair?
- Vacuuming will in fact remove all pet hair effortlessly, well, depending on your vacuum. If you've got a straight suction only cleaner (a cylinder with no turbo head) you will find it a lot more difficult. From owning a cat, and having superior knowledge of vacuum cleaners, I can confirm that one of the best, and long lasting vacuums for pet owners would be the brand new 2017 Numatic International Henry Vacuum. This paired with the red turbo floor head will destroy all house hold dirt. They are probably one of the longest lasting vacuums you can buy, and they're super easy to maintain and empty...
- Q: Can I use my vacuum cleaner to suck up the excess co2 in the air?
- no, because it will just exit the vaccum since it is not air tight. also, air is mixed with co2 and you wouldn't be able to separate the two.
- Q: What are everybody's opinions on the Kirby G3/G4/G5/G6/UG/DE/SE/SE II vacuum cleaners/carpet shampooers?
- Agreed. Owned one...switched to Rainbow. Cost is high on the Kirby, but it's rated at being best in its' category...for vacuuming. I didn't like how cumbersome it was to use, or having to empty bags. Rainbow has several attachments, too...but all the dirt goes into the water trap, and you just pour it out when finished. Egad...it's gross and great, all at the same time. Great for allergies, and there are air cleaner/fresheners included. As you clean, the Rainbow will scent or clean the air. Read more about it, and you might like it better than the Kirby. Either one will require fussing between attachments...but having had both, I'll never go back to Kirby. Carpet cleaner WAY much hassle. Better to rent a cleaner, as needed, than to take up space storing a unit you seldom use. Hope this helped. It's quite an investment.
