An added bonus is you can add air freshners to the water and it makes your house smell so good after vacuuming. It is of the cannister type comes with standard attachments. I, like you have pets in the house to me, it is the only way to go. Rainbow's are expensive though but you might luck up and pick up a used one. Good luck in your quest!
