Q: Or does it have to be replaced when it gets dirty ?Even if it can't be washed using water, could I use one of my other vacuum cleaners to vacuum off the dirt ?: I'm assuming you no longer have the instructions that came with it? Google the make and model number there should be onlilne instructions. I've washed vacuum cleaner filters before, but they usually don't work as well after.

Q: Sears just had a sale on vacuum cleaners and I got their progressive upright model 35923 with the quot;intelicleansystem. This is the one highly rated by Consumer Reports.I used it for a few days, and it seemed okay, except the inteliclean system would start acting weird after about 30 minutes of use. It would slip into the highest-power mode and get quot;stuckthere. Even on areas that it previously went over and sensed as clean. I could temporarlily fix it by switching out of carpet mode, then back in, but after a while it would get stuck again.Swapped it for another one, and the sales associate tells me to NOT USE the inteliclean system the first few times I vacuum. When I ask why, she says quot;I don't know what the reason is, we're just supposed to tell the customers thatquot;. Sounds pretty strange to me. There's nothing in the manual about it.Has anyone else gotten this advice from Sears regarding their inteliclean equipped vac? If so, what's the reason for it?: Haven't okorder and see what you can find.....everyone reviews everything there....

Q: rainbow D4SE: Yes, any one selling vacuum cleaners door to door will take any old vacuum in trade. Remember though that these people work on high mark up and in turn high commission. Hold out on making a quick sale to get your best deal. Many people are ripped off by door to door sales people who are desperate to make a sale. A fair commission is ok, as every one is entitled to make a living.

Serious answers only please.: yes they can survive, and so can spiders..I vacuumed one up and I was shocked to see this thing moving around,,I didn't want it to hatch eggs so I emptied it and threw out the bag

Q: Can you recommend a good vacuum cleaner that uses HEPA filters to filter the exhaust air?: either the miele brand cannister vacuum or the sebo brand upright vacuums are pretty much the best machines out there. Both machines use hepa our s-class filtration which in vacuum terms is very close to each other. The miele cannister is the best in my oponion, mainly because the machine is sealed better, thus all the exhaust air has to pass through the filter, and only the filter. I've sold the miele's for eleven years and in my sixteen years of repairing vacuum cleaners are the best in the market

Q: Can anyone/everyone help me in knowing what to buy as far as vacuum cleaners go?? I am in desperate need to replace the piece of crap that I currently have and are having a heck of a time doing it, for there are oh I don't know millions of them!!! I certainly have pets so i replace into incredibly searching for something that would get each and all the puppy hair up, fee replace into no longer a factor for me. decrease than their suggestion of customer superb purchase, i offered a Eureka at Walmart no much less for around $one hundred twenty.00, and that i like it!! it incredibly is a 12 amp with a sealed hepa filter out, and each and all the attachments. I certainly have wood flooring and carpet and it does a great activity on the two. It has a change to transform to regardless of floor you're vacuuming on the time, and an adjustment for the peak of carpet. good success.
