Turn the vacuum upside down and turn it on and if the brush spins, then your alright, but if it doesn't move, then your belt is broken. Easy to change. Walmart or home depot, etc sells them and with a phillips screwdriver, take off the plastic top of the vacuum and you will see where the belt goes. Now if you brush is spinning, then you have a clog. Check down the hose and see if you can see light. A clog is easy to unclog, a long screwdriver etc.

Q: is there a way i can get him out or he is pretty much dead? he went up thru the tube extention thingy while i was vacuuming on accident so help me please: If it's stuck in the tube, pull it off and carefully cut down til you reach the head or tail, then even more carefully cut the tube all the way til the snake is released, better to ruin the tube than kill the snake, they are pretty hardy, so it may still be alive. When you get it out, check from head to tail for any injury and then bathe it in luke warm water to clean and rehydrate. Don't put the head under the water. Be prepared for an upset snake, so I recommend not handling for a couple of days and keep an eye on its next shed to make sure it comes of in one piece.

So if you stay there, and let your anxiety peak, then lower back to regular. The fear that something bad will happen in the future will disappear. Or weaken largely. Because your sitting there, and nothing is happening, and even though you know inside nothing will happen to you your mind still reacts that way. (Like some people are afraid of bunnies) So sit through the vacuuming and I am sure that you will be able to face it time after time after that :D

Not only will you get the best vac on the market, but for a reconditioned machine, you will not pay any more than for a cheaper models new cost. I have one I loaned my son a few years ago, an one I have used for 5-6 years. Both bought second hand for less than $300.00, and both are still going strong. Mine will almost suck the rugs off the floor. I have had every kind you can name, but none was ever this good.
