- Q: I have been bench pressing for 2 years now and I have never been injured. Towards the end of the school year I started feeling this sharp pain in my front deltoid and my shoulder. When I was lifting it hurt when I pushed the weight up. The pain isnt so much shoulder or chest its both, where the armpit lining is. The pain is a sharp pain sort of feels like the muscle inside is sore. I the pain wasnt going away so I iced it for like 2 days and I tried lifting again. I still felt the pain. So i took some time off and did not touch any weights for a whole month. Today i got back and tried lifting and I still felt the pain. There is no pain when im doing close grip bench, the pain comes when my grip gets a little wide. ANY ONE HAVE ANY AVICE or TREATMENT.

- Q: what is cold press technique to produce shea butter
- Cold press is a processing technique, shea butter doesn't grow naturally in the wild in its processed form. From Wikipedia: Cold pressed or Cold extraction means that the oil was not heated over a certain temperature (usually 80 °F (27 °C)) during processing, thus retaining more nutrients and undergoing less degradation.[29]
- Q: I am having a consultation with one on Saturday?I don't know much about small literary presses? Can they sell on books on a national level? Can they do everything that a large literary press can do?What else do I need to know about a small literary press?
- One major problem is that the bookstore chains like Borders and Barnes Noble will not order books from a POD publisher. They go through two major distributors: Baker Taylor and Ingram and they usually don't take print on demand books. Stick with traditional publishers. Don't pay someone to print your book. If you're book is that well written you'll find a publisher. The important thing is to keep writing and sending stuff out.
- Q: Ok so one day I came across this thing where it just said press these keys on my computer so I did then all of a sudden everything got exited out. What keys do you press that exit everything out?
- Gutenberg's printing press allowed for multiple copies of books to be printed in a quick and organized fassion. Before the printing press, the stamps had to be hand dipped in ink, and page by page the book had to be manualy printed by a two book binders. With the printing press you could now place a large sheet of paper, and print the entire book on it, then later, cut the sheets, bind it, and sell it. Gutenberg's printing press marked the beginning of the modern book. It allowed for thousands of copies of the same book to be made and distributed quickly and neatly. It is considered by many historians to be one of the most important inventions of that century.
- Q: Is there a major difference between the two? Is one more effective than the others? Would it be a bad idea to add 3 sets of dead lifts to my work out if I'm already doing 5 sets of leg press?
- The leg press targets the quadriceps but also works the Gluteus Maximus, Adductor Magnus, Soleus, Hamstrings and Gastrocnemius. Full Squat although it works the same major muscles it also works the Erector Spinae, Rectus Abdominis and Obliques. Deadlift is specifically a back exercise and targets the Erector Spinae but also works Gluteus Maximus, Adductor Magnus, Quadriceps, Soleus, Hamstrings, Gastrocnemius, Trapezius, Middle, Trapezius, Upper, Levator Scapulae, Rhomboids, Rectus Abdominis and Obliques Drop the leg press and do the deadlifts.
- Q: iam looking for a calculation or the difference between doing a bench press on a leverage bench vs a regular bench , for example i have a powertech leverage bench , if i have 300 lbs on it including the 30 lb U shaped bar that holds the wieght, and i lift it, whats the difference in actual wieght lifted compared to doing it on a regular flat bench, calculating the fact that you start at the bottom position on a leverage bench and there is no need for balancing the wieght like on a regular bench, and the difference in the angle in which you push up the wieght on a leverage bench, i know 300lbs on a leverage bench is not the same as doing 300lbs on a reular bench, does anyone know any websites or know themselves the ratio's or the difference in each is....like if you can do 300lbs on a leverage bench does that mean you can really only bench 230 on a regular bench..etc etc
- There is no difference in the weight. 300 Ibs is 300 Ibs. The difference lies in the range of motion. The leverage bench is a machine. The bench press uses a barbell, which is a free weight. The answer lies in your statement calculating the fact that you start at the bottom position on a leverage bench and there is no need for balancing the weight like on a regular bench. The balancing is the important part. On a regular bench press, you are using your secondary supporting muscles to help lift the weight, which in turn strengthens those muscles, and makes you stronger all around. Form is the so important, and on a regular bench press, you really have to work to keep your form. On a machine, there isn't any work, the machine does the form for you. The big problem with regular bench presses also lies with the benefits. If one isn't strong enough, they can really hurt themselves. Some people over use or focus more on the secondary muscles to lift the weight, and that can cause injuries. But, to be fair, someone can do the same thing on a leverage bench, it is just much harder to do. I dunno, but I've always found the machines to be much easier. The machines do isolate the muscle very well, and even some secondary muscles get worked (like the triceps) but no where near the extant of the regular bench press. Isolation is good and important, but strength is always the most important (That's why we work out!). I really can't explain why the leverage bench seems easier, but it just does. Probably more support from the bench/machine/bar, less balancing etc when using the machine. Both are good, but I prefer the regular bench press (flat, incline, and decline) IMHO. I really only use machines sometimes after the bench to get a good isolation of the muscle, but that is rare. Good luck. Oh, and do push ups! Lots and lots of push ups! Best exercise ever!
- Q: Hi everyone! At my school weight room we only have a mechanical? Bench press. Like one which is a bar attached to a pulley that lifts up weights. So basically a bar you push up with adjustable weight and no free movement. Anyone tell me what it's called? Before anyone goes into saying It's far better to use an actual bar I'm just trying to make do with what I got. So basically On this thing I can push 100lbs once (13 years old) so I wanted to know what the best weight and how many reps/sets of what weight I should do for best results. I would also like to know proper technique so if someone could link me to a site or tell me that'd be great. I would also like to know best exercises to supplement my bench press. Thanks in advance,Jamie
- squeeze your shoulder blades in combination underneath you and preserve them locked in combination during the recreation. Take a breath, unrack the burden, scale down the bar till it touches your rib cage, then press again up, exhaling as you move the sticking factor.
- Q: So I am a biginner at makeup and I was wondering how do you use pressed powder? Like how do you know when you've put enough on and how do you put it on? This is probably a dumb question so sorry if it is. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks
- Get a big, oversized blush brush. This way it makes it really hard to put on to much. The brush should be the size of a coke can or a bit smaller. Brush lightly over face. If you cant tell where you have it on or if you need more then its a waste of money and you don't need it yet.
- Q: Should the Press not report and not ask questions?
- What's the problem bro? A totally isolated rich dude like Romney shouldn't be expected to all of a sudden answer for his actions dude. Megawealthy elite are above scrutiny bro if you didn't know that already. When he's president, we'll be able to shout questions out to no one from our free speech zones dude.
- Q: I've been wanting a bench press for a while now and 2 days ago my dad bought me one. When my mom saw it, she was being a ***** about it and told my dad to return it. I got really pissed after that because he promised me he'll get me one. I guess it's because it's big. So now I'm stuck with the barbell and 2 25 pound weights. (I'll buy more weights soon) So really can I still do bench press without the bench or do I really need a bench to do it with? What difference does it make if I bench press with or without the bench?
- have you tried push ups?
