Usage and Applications of Carbon Steel Wire Rod:
After hot-rolled the products shaped into coil and delivery as finished product, including round, square, rectangular, hexagonal and so on. Since most of the products are round, it is generally called wire rod. Carbon steel wire rod is widely used in construction and manufacturing. Carbon steel wire rod is mainly used for reinforcement of reinforced concrete and welded structure or reprocessed (roberts , nail, etc.) materials, especially used to produce wire drawing, welding electrode, nails, spring, electronic, precise machinery parts and so on.

- Q: Hello, i am trying to hook up power windows in my truck. the motor has two wires and the switch has 3 wires. i just need the relay. i just need to know what kind of relay i need and how to hook it up. i know i need a reversing relay and that it needs to use the 3 switch wires along with the two motor wires and the two power wires. does anyone know what this relay is called and where i could find it online? thank you.
- a 3 phase motor has 3 windings whose centers are separated by 120° mechanically. The phases in a 3-phase system are separated by 120° electrically. The sum of the magnetic fields produced by these currents has a constant magnitude, and rotates the direction determined by connection of the phase wires. Arbitrarily giving ABC as one direction of rotation, then BAC = ACB = CBA reverses the rotation of the field in the motor, reversing its rotation.

- a) When the currents through both the wires are in the same direction, the magnetic field due to each midway between them, by right-hand thumb rule, will be in opposite directions. This will result in attraction between the wires. b) When the currents through both the wires are in the opposite directions, the magnetic field due to each midway between them, by right-hand thumb rule, will be in the same direction. This will result in respulsion between the wires.
- Q: Replaced the old fan in my bathroom (about 10 years old) with a new fan. Trouble is this. The fan and light each work on a seperate bathroom switch. I have two spots to install the wire on the new bathroom fan/light. One for the fan and one for the ligth. However, the wiring has one white, one black, one red and the ground. Anyone know what the red is? Can I just cap it off? According the bathroom fan wiring it says something about connecting red to blue. I am slighty confused. I think it was originally only wired between the white and black. I am not sure if I have to get some extra wire and connect the black and red to the light and the white to the fan? Extra wire is confusing.
- Red and black are both hot, white is neutral. Use black for fan and red for light or vice versa, depending on which switch you want to operate each one. Added - Have to hook up the white neutral wire to both the fan and the light, this creates the electrical circuit needed. You can attach all the white wires together with a wire nut.
- Q: wiring kit, subwoofers
- by wiring kit do you mean the amps power kit? some of which will include speaker wire for the subs anyway usually your amp will come with instructions that tell you what the minimum gauge is the amp will accept for power, this is the gauge power and ground cable you will want to get maximum power to the amp and to prevent overheating issues, typically amps under 400 watts rms power will do fine with 8 gauge, amps 400-1000 rms will use 4 gauge and 1000+ will use 2/0 gauge wire, for the subwoofer speaker wire you can never go too big gauge only too small, a kicker 12 gauge speaker wire will work for almost any application
- Q: I made a kill switch for my car. All I need to do now is cut the wire that goes into my engine control module and join it with the switch I made. Would it be fine if I just use wire nuts or some sort of tape to join the wires instead of soldering? - Twisted wires can separate with the daily rattle and bumps of a car. I would crimp or solder it along with a shrink tube to secure it.
- Q: So, I purchased a motion sensor light switch to replace the regular switches at my new condo. I have the wires exposed and I've identified the hot wire. My only problem is the hot wire (from inside the wall) is a single thick copper prong, whereas the wire for the motion sensor is split into like 15 different small copper wires.... I don't think the thick, single wire from the wall will work with the twisting wire connectors I purchased.... Am I able to just put the wires together and duct tape them??
- The twisting cord connectors (aka cord nuts) will artwork fantastic to connect stranded and stable wires, assuming they are the proper length connectors. merely lay the solid and stranded cord in conjunction with one yet another and screw on the cord nut. Double examine your achieved connection by giving the guy conductors a tug.
- Q: I am re wiring a hanging lamp. I know the black wire is the hot. My problem is this, the replacement wire is gold. There is no apparent groove in the wire, but one side does have writing on it. If I remember correctly the side with the writing is the hot?
- That will work. Both wires are the same, but one needs to be assigned as black AT BOTH ENDS. You could use the wire with the writing in it, or mark one wire with black magic marker, and carefully trace that same wire to the other end and mark it with black magic marker too. (But if there is no groove in the wire insulation, you probably won't be able to trace one wire from one end to the other. In that case, you'd need to use an electrician's continuity meter to find the same wire at the other end). The other two answerer's are correct that the bulb will light, BUT it will be unsafe if wired backwards. NAILBENDER's answer fails to recognize the safety hazard of wiring the hot to the wrong side of a light. You don't want the hot side to electrify the threaded sides of an electrical light bulb fixture! The hot needs to be on the bottom center of the bulb fixture. ROODOG1's answer also fails to recognize that someone could get shocked when screwing in (or out) a light bulb and touching the threaded side of the bulb which may be hot if wired wrong. DILLIGAF makes the same error, even though he says he's an electrician! Read a do-it-yourself electricians website; don't rely on these people's answers! Exception: If your lamp is plug-in that does not have one prong wider than the other, then it doesn't make a difference which wire is hot because the plug goes into the receptacle either way.
- Q: i have a 300x1 @ 4ohm and 600x1 @ 2ohms, i wanna hook it up at 2 ohms what gauge wiring kit should i get?
- I am pushing about 1000 watts through my wires...I use the lowest gauge (biggest wire) i could find, which was 2 gauge. Before, i used 8 gauge power/ground wire and 14 gauge speaker wire. I re-wired my truck with 2 gauge power/ground wire and 8 gauge speaker wire.... MUCH more punch and substantially louder playing levels. I lost lots of power through my previous wiring. Lots of ppl argue with the wire size, but i say go lowest gauge possible. I mean, its makes sense.....the bigger the wire, the easier the electrons can flow through.

- US wiring uses black as hot, white as neutral, and green or yellow/green as ground. European (IEC) wiring uses brown as hot, blue as neutral and green/yellow as ground. Your connections would be black to brown, white to blue, and yellow/green to yellow. Don

- Well, keeping your colors straight will definitely make your wiring easier to understand later on. Red should got to the positive side, black to the negative. Any other colors are more or less up to you. What actually matters more is choosing the right gage of wire for the job. If your wire is too thin for the current going through it, it will melt quite quickly and possible start a fire. Make sure you know what gage you need before you start, and don't try to go cheap.
