- Q: Its an 03 jetta with monsoon amp. I need step by step instructions on how to run the power cable. Pictures would be nice too. Thanks!!!!!

- Q: Does anyone with an Xbox 360 or someone that knows stuff about AC power cords tell me if the Belkin Standard Power Cable can be used with the xbox 360?Best answer gets 5.
- Yep its the same thing as the 1 that came with the Xbox 360 but not made by Microsoft. Only problem is you'll still need the power block that came with the xbox 360.
- Q: I lost the power cord and USB cable to my HDD case. The company of the case is Intex. On a sticker is says, Intex HDD Case T-350 SA.This was posted a long time ago by someone, but it's the only place I can find the photo.Serious answers only please, I'm not asking if I should get a new one. I just want to know the information on the power cord and cable.
- It's a regular USB 2 cable. No idea what sort of power it takes. Can't be a very special power though. Your best bet is to get one of those switchable supplies from Radio Shack and try the voltage one at a time until the drive works. If you go under the drive won't run, so you can't do it that way if you start low and move higher.
- Q: I just bought a new motherboard and it had a 24 pin power thingy, my power supply was only a 20 pin. After looking at my manual it said I was able to do that if I aligned them a specific way. After that PC turns on, the lights turn on, hard drives turn on, and everything else. the thing is the screen stays black and says no signal.I was looking on the motherboard and there is a 4 pin ATX12V1, but there is no such cable that comes out of my power supply. I think the reason the screen stays blank is because it said that was used to power the CPU. What can I do since I do not have a ATX12V1 cable that connects to my motherboard? The only cables that come out of my pwr supply are for the IDE and floppy.
- You need a new power supply. Make sure it's 24 pin and has enough wattage and amperage on the +12v rail to power your system.
- Q: So my aunt gave me an old NES, but all she had was the system itself and a few games. She didn't have any of the wires. Luckily I found this retro game store near me and bought a few cables that I thought was all I needed (The power cable so it would actually turn on and the audio video cord) but apparently I need something else? I'm not quite sure.....Does my NES just not work? The red light comes on when ever I press the power button but there is no picture on the screen! Is there something I'm missing? Did I put something in wrong??? There is another spot in the back for another wire but I don't know what it is. Any help would be awesome.
- Power cable? You mean AC Adaptor? Well, you need an NES AC adaptor and an NES RF Switch. The RF Switch is that little gray box with the coax screw on it. If your tv (or whatever you're plugging the console into) doesn't have the old analog plugs that a coax cable can screw in to, then I don't know of any other solution?
- Q: I know Ethernet cable is much more susceptible to electromagnetic interference than fiber optic cable, but is fiber completely immune to it? I want to wrap a fiber optic cable around a 230 volt power line going through my attic for about 150 feet. Will this cause problems?
- Hi There, The 220 volt AV power cable will not cause any interference but it is not a good idea. The fiberoptic cable should be ran separate. It is a little more work but the right way to route the cable. You have to be very careful not to exceed the bend radius and wrapping around an existinf power wire might cause a problem. =====this is from the link below======= Do not install a fiber optic cable in a conduit or duct that already contains cabling, regardless of the cable type. Existing or new empty ductwork can be modified to accept several different installations by the placement of innerduct within it. ======================================... Hope this helps, Al
- Q: I have a power cable for my computer that got slightly chewed and i was wondering does that effect the power.im just wanting to know if it will have less power or will it work the same and as far as i know none of the wires where hurt just the rubber around them.
- It will work if the wires are undamaged. But they will have been kinked when the cable got chewed. The cable is now dangerous, if the wires are pinched you may get a hot spot, melt the insulation and fire/shock hazard. Turn it off and replace the cable.
- Q: i just moved from canada to asia and the voltage in canada was 110 and here its 240 so i have a ps3 and i plugged it into a converter(converts voltage). After im done playing i noticed that the power cable is warm and you could move the two positive and negative prongs very easily as if they were about to come out of the cable. I have no idea what to do HELP!!!!!!!
- The ps3 supports both 120 and 220 Voltage.
- Q: im looking at installing an amp and was wondering if its fine to go through the firewall were there is already a group of wires with a rubber seal, i was thinking of poking a hole through the rubber seal and running the power cable through there would this be a suitable option. Thanks
- Of course you can. As many amps that I have installed I have only had to drill one hole through the fire wall. As long as there is a grommet you are good to go. You should be able to open the rubber up with a screw driver. Just be careful not to damage any wires.
- Q: I feel like this is a stupid question but yeah, I m getting a PC and wonder about all the cables. It doesn t have vga output so I m going with a separate hdmi cable to the screen, but power cables I suppose will be there? Like that s not a separate thing ooor...?
- If you're buying a pre-built PC, it will come with all the necessary cables. If you're buying parts to assemble your own PC, you'll get most of the cables. The power supply will come with a power cord, as well as the power cables for use inside the PC. The monitor will come with its own power cord, and at least 1 video cable. If you want to use HDMI and it didn't come with a HDMI cable, just go buy one (assuming the monitor supports HDMI...) The motherboard may come with some SATA cables for connecting your hard drive, DVD drive to the motherboard. The motherboard will also come with a baggie full of screws, connectors, and doodads for attaching the motherboard to the case. In general, you should have just about everything you need to completely build a PC from a pile of parts.
