Maintainance guide:
Make sure that you regulaly clean the wood floors in order to prevent dust accumulation. We recommand to clean a small part
of stains as a testing ground to prevent too much chromatic aberration.
Dust and stain— use a hard brush dipped in warm soapy water to remove it.
Mildew— scrub with ordinary wood mode class agents, or bleach to rinse or wipe it directly.
Chalk stains—In addition to the while chalk, other colors can not be removed, you can use bleaching agent with hot soapy
water to wash it.
Ice or snow—Apply calcium chloride or rock salt, it can melt ice or snow, then use hot soapy water to wash it.
Stain soil and dirts— Apply detergent, which contains oxalic acid or phosphoric acid. Whiping the stain for 10-15 mins.
Greasy and oil-based stains—immediately use household cleaning products with hot soapy water to wash it.
Juice and wine stains—Mixed the bleach stain agent and hot soapy water to dilute the stain and wipe.

- Q: I sometimes have a nightmare where I am trapped on a floor that keeps on tilting steeper and steeper, and I am falling and I can't hold onto anything to keep myself up. Can anyone interoperate this?
- the floor represents your support if the floor is slanted then that means that you are moving to far from your goals. but since you say its getting steeper and your falling then it means that are struggling with an overwhelming problem. it also may mean that you have failed to achieve a goal

- I have vinyl flooring and have always heard that you should use ammonia or bleach on vinyl.....I don't use Pine-Sol because it doesn't have the disinfectant properties that Lysol and Mr.Clean have (kills Staph, E-coli etc...).....I use Mr.Clean or Lysol....I just follow the mixture directions on the back and always use HOT water, this cleans great....also Future Floor Finish ( polish) leaves vinyl floors so shiny they look like marble.

- laminate is as cheap as carpet, gives/floats if your floor is unlevel without too many problems. Sams has a good price, and it is very functional with kids and pets carpet is easy to lay in the middle of a floor, but if the edging, and doorways aren't right, it looks terrible. Also, if you do not have it stretched it will have rolls in just a couple of month. Tile is difficult to cut, can be very difficult if your floors are unlevel and is cold to the feet. I recommend a professional, but it does last the longest, and doesn't show wear and tear. That is why most mega-stores, schools, etc... are using tile now. Linoleum is easy and cheap, but it usually looks easy and cheap. Linoleum tiles are usually the easiest for diy's if you mess up, you have only lost a buck or two, and it can be managed in small sections. There are some pretty good brands out there. The house we just bought has linoleum tile that looks like green marble (I am removing it!) Real hardwoods are beautiful, expensive, need to be laid by a pro., but are worth the expense if you can afford it.

- Tounge and Groove Or Click Hardwood flooring is one of the easiest things you can do to raise the value as well as visual appeal of your home. For tools all you will need are edgers(little plastic pieces.usually come w/ the flooring),A Miterbox Saw , a hammer, a block of wood,a tape measure, some ratcheting straps, and industrial wood glue. First thing you have to do is assemble the first 4-5 rows of your floor. cut the planks to size to fit your floor using the edgers next to walls...once you have the first 4-5 put together using the block of wood and hammer w/ the glue. Then you use the ratcheting Tiedown straps to hold them together w/ some tension (dont put it to tight or you will bow the floor). Leave that sit for a hour or two. After that dries remove the straps and put your starting section back into place along the far wall using the plastic edgers along the walls, you then assemble the rest of the floor using the glue hammer block of wood combination...Glue will ooze out of the joints of the floor while you are doing this...DO NOT WIPE UP THE GLUE. The flooring is laminated. The glue will dry then you take a plastic painters blade and gently scrape the dry glue off the floor. If you wipe it a thin film will remain and discolor your floor when it dries..ive seen it happen its ugly. Its a really easy job. When I did it in my house and alot of others I used PERGO Flooring i might recomend it because i have a dog and 2 year old daughter and the floor still looks great....
